I like the Harry Potter and Unregistered Hypercam Kirby footage in the intro. Really sets an example for the quality of the rest of the video.
That and it's just footage strung together in the first place.
If you don't like conker's bad fur day there is something wrong with you. It's one of the most hilarious and memorable games ever created. Even if the gameplay isn't super-polished.
The pants + nostalgia critic was super cringy, satire or not.
Seriously annoyed to see other video clips used as reactions in these.
His opinion didn't bother me as much as this cancer of a video.
Oh no: opinions! Everyone shield your ears/eyes!

Not to mention the cringe-worthy presentation of himself

didn't grant kirkhope say that conker was in production before banjo
Am I the only one that feels that this is satire? Like the way he phrases some things just makes me think that he's not serious.

He's continuing to defend his opinion in the video description (and failing) so I really doubt it's satire.
While I don't understand the cult following Conker has, and while it's certainly not as good at platforming as Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, the variety of the gameplay really made me love it.
I love the part where he talks about stereotypes and interpretations and then gets Frankie* totally wrong.

I thought a lot of the humor in Conker's Bad Fur Day was fucking stupid. Too much shock and gross out humor and movie references. It's like the worst South Park episodes.
It did manage to have a few good jokes though, and the gameplay was downright amazing (especially the multiplayer).
So, why the hell would you compare a Nintendo 64 game to games of this current era?
I mean, game development changed a fuck ton since then. If you're going to compare games, compare them from the same era and consoles, so at least you have a good benchmark.
Anyway, I think Conker's bad fur day is a pretty great game. It really went out and did something different for its time, and it's why it's still fairly high regarded nowadays.
There are worse things out there then this.

The second I saw the kid I knew it was going to be bad.
[QUOTE=Pandamox;40852025]That multiplayer was terrible compared to what it could have been when i saw this demonstration at E3 2003 (same E3 half-life 2 was shown, i still have my official gamespot DVD from that E3)

He is what I imagine in my mind's eye to be a stereotypical Nintendo fan
which is exactly what makes Conker's Bad Fur Day so appealing to me

I'm going to play the devil's avocado here and say that if nobody had an opposing opinion, then there would be a fuckton of flaws in video games.

I understand your intention but this is an awful thought process. He isn't allowed to publish his ideas and opinions because they disagree with the majority? That's just ridiculous, and at least this guy made a well detailed and well thought out video to explain his hatred, and in fact, he stated his hatred isn't even about the game itself, but rather what it did to rareware (though that makes me question why he even bothered making this video about the game's flaws if he doesn't even hate the game for those flaws)
Couldn't keep going after 1:00
I skipped ahead a few minutes, and stopped watching after he said Berri made it on his "love interests" list.
This is like if Fast Threads made a review, it's horrible ;-;

I love how he describes, "Conker's bad fur day as the game that killed rareware" as a fact, because he knows what goes on in rareware.
