Should have said fuck the piece of ear, drove to the hospital and go "hey guys, look at my ear". Then they would have just closed up the top, and you would have had actual evidence of the story a few years down the road. Well, that's what I would've done, but I'm just crazy like that. Shit's never the same after you've been shot. Oh wow, I hit 1k.
when it happened I was like "what the fuck some motherfucker just cut my ear off what the fuck what the fuck" Sometimes I get a tickling feeling where that part of my ear should be. When I think about it I can feel it's not there, hard to explain.

Limb loss is a result of either removal by amputation or congenital limb deficiency (Giummarra et al., 2007). However, phantom limb sensations can also occur following nerve avulsion or spinal cord injury. Sensations are recorded most frequently following the amputation of an arm or a leg, but may also occur following the removal of a breast or an internal organ. Phantom limb pain is the feeling of pain in an absent limb or a portion of a limb. The pain sensation varies from individual to individual. Sensations of touch, temperature, pressure and itchiness. Many amputees report of feeling heat, tingling and itchy, and of course pain.
[tab]Source: [/tab]Wikipedia

I had heard/read about that before this happened, and it's interesting being able to experience it. It's much more subtle than what I would have thought.
