That's where I'm at with this too. I mean I know the guy wasn't intentionally going for my ear, he could just as easily cut my eye or even throat. Overall I think I'm pretty lucky.

Yeah, the doctor said it doesn't have blood flow back yet, and since it's pretty rare he doesn't know what to look for as far as color goes. Today when I put ointment on it and stuff it almost looked like it had color back in it. He really did an amazing job putting it back on.

Post updated pictures when it heals a bit more OP?
I have to go into the doctor every couple days to get the bandaging changed, I'm going to have them take a couple pictures every time so I can track the progress.
I figure it might help the court case as well if I end up not being able to keep the ear, or having to have reconstructive surgery.
I appreciate the concern from you guys, it's been a tough few days. Seems like every time I manage to get things somewhat together something unexpected comes along to upset the rhythm.
