My dad's a doctor and he says your ear appears to be regaining bloodflow, which is a very good thing, but that it looks pretty nasty, and with this kind of thing you just never know if it will turn out ok.
I know who the guy is, and i filed a report but havent heard much from the cops yet

Sort of, I didn't get a chance to take a picture at the doctors this time, I'll try to take one next time I change the bandaging.
Sorry if I missed it in the thread, but how painful was/is it? The way I read the OP you didn't even notice the damn thing come off, which is fairly amazing.

But yeah you should probably go to the ER. It looks like dead skin, get it removed before the rest of your ear gets an infection because of its decay.

It's not dead skin, it still has bloodflow, but it appears to be dying. It's not yet decaying though, so he doesn't have to fear toxemia.

You don't see them transporting organs in anything other than ice
You are supposed to put them into cold, because it slows down the cell metabolism and they don't die as quickly.
Rather interesting actually, it also works if a human being stops breathing in cold water (i.e. from drowning), they have a much greater chance of being revived because their vital organ's cells are dying less quickly

Went to the er again yesterday, the top of the ear probably isn't going to make it, and I'll have to do reconstructive surgery. I have an appointment on monday where hopefully I'll find out a bit more.
I'm still hoping for the best, I just gotta deal with whats going on I suppose.
I got a picture but it looks pretty bad, I'll upload when I'm not at work.
That sucks, I know a handful of my friends have had various parts cut off, and the reconstruction makes it look good as new. I myself have had my tooth broken in half, then rebuilt and a piece of my finger cut off and reconstructed, no one ever notices, I even forget unless I think about it.
Don't worry kid, this just means a life of painting sunflowers and then commiting suicide due to your depression is what you have to look forward too.

I mean, fuck, I would be pretty calm at the beginning with the hope in my head that the ear would make it
but once I find out that my ear isn't going to survive and I need reconstructive surgery, well then I would go fucking ballistic and find that guy and fucking beat the shit out of him
