You should of had them put leeches on it, in cases where the ear or parts of the ear get cut off they usually dont heal well and have to be removed later but many studies have shown leeches can get blood flowing properly again.
Its a bit late for that, the surgery tomorrow is to remove the tissue that didn't regrow. It did, however, heal above the cutline.. so success!
Yeah I kind of noticed with the whole black part, atleast they will be able to give you a prosthetic for it.
Actually if and when I do reconstructive surgery (6mo - 1yr from now) they would use cartilage from the inside of my ear and skin from behind my ear/my side/etc..
Well thats even better than a prosthetic ear piece.
