Just be sure to let it dry and you're good to go. Probably doesn't work with fancy smancy mechanical backlit keyboards

if you effectively drain the capacitors (take out the ac and hit the power button a few times) and let this dry out properly, there is no reason it wouldn't work. unless the detergent etc. has some kind of trace eroding chemical
i recently bathed my mechanical keyboard in water to fix a few sticky keys and it works perfectly. after letting it dry out in front of a radiator
