I never understood the recreational appeal of benzos. there are so many people out there that love benzos to death and so many that don't and the explanation for why some like it is because it's 'enjoyable' if you already suffer from anxiety. I'm diagnosed with GAD and I get no drug effect whatsoever from benzos other than feeling tired. it's great for panic attacks and for sleeping after taking drugs that causes insomnia but recreational, I don't understand. what is enjoyable about it?
I'm doing more of a one time thing because I've never done xanax before, I tried valium a few months ago (from a mate with a script) and it was pretty chill just smoking weed and watching movies. Xanax is probably the last benzo I'll try, I don't expect much from the drug except to feel calm and sedated.
yeah I totally get that. I'm mostly curious as to why those who like xanax so much like it as much as they do cus I don't understand because all I get is tired. it is fun to smoke weed on tho gotta give it that, but I don't like it all that much either since I feel it dulls the weed high
It's an anti-anxiolytic. A huge amount of people these days summer from almost constant background anxiety, and being on xanax / similar removing that feels like being high.

Been drinking for about 10 years now, last 5 years I had been drinking every day. Had a bit of a scare after throwing up blood and having seizures so I am having an endoscopy done, has anyone had one of these before?
Will I be able to eat after and continue as normal? (depending on the results of course)

unless they cut up tissue or something similar, then yeah, you'll probably be able to eat like normal. I had an endoscopy in my dick twice. first time they cut up some tissue that was blocking my urineways and it was painful as fuck to pee and have sex afterwards. second time he simply took a look inside and didn't cut anything up and my dick worked like normal afterwards. no pain whatsoever no matter how I used it.
God that sounds horrific, I am hoping it's just my gastritis playing up but I am becoming increasingly ill and losing weight. 6 foot 2 and only 10 stone/68kg, eat a tonne as well when I am able to/not feeling ill.
it wasn't too bad, the pain passed relatively quickly! the surgery after though where they had to open my dick hole to the size where you could comfortably fit a pill bottle inside, that's a whole other story. I was practically peeing 100% blood so it was definitely a horror show to use the bathroom. good thing opioids exist, eh?

I'm assuming you're trying to cut down on the alcohol after this experience yeah? sounds like a good wake up call, it's some seriously horrifying shit to experience your physical body withering away. never had an experience like you but I can imagine its scary as hell.

Yeah that's exactly it, was drinking a 70cl bottle of whiskey every couple days and not even getting drunk anymore. Decided enough was enough after I did a day's work and all my muscles were in agony afterwards for 4/5 days.
Literally feels like I am withering away, hopefully all is well and I just need advice on how to get back into shape

Rolled for the first time with my best friend last night.
It was beautiful. No other word for it really.
I was too busy enjoying everything to get any real work done mentally, but I guess for a first try that's just fine. Having ~6 hours just totally flash by feels so fucked up too, I seriously underestimated the time alteration aspect of it. Oh well, I knew from the start this wouldn't be a one-off thing.
Still, weeks of planning and it all paid off in the end, was likely thanks to all the supplements I took during it that I'm barely having a depressive crash.
Gonna be a long wait to get back to baseline and go again. Here's hoping I can put it out of my mind until then. Speaking of pills, been long enough since the dose, time for the 5-HTP.

I've had that procedure. Pretty simple they just shove a cam into your stomach, but they put you under so you just end up waking up like "woah its already done?" At least that was my experience, I went in for my acid reflux though. I was able to eat no problem after, you have to fast beforehand though.

I did it twice last year and I wasn't put a sleep, nasty experience when they shove that camera down your throat, oh breath now, wtf I can't while this tube is blocking my airway, then your half puking and drooling. Atleast my second endoscopy results were positive, all good.
I don't understand why it's not legal to sell e juice with nicotine in Norway it's so backwards. I stupidly separated my juice orders to two packages to keep it under the tax price and of course I put every single nicotine shot in the package that didn't arrive today. now I got e juice with no nicotine so I'm stuck with smoking cigs until Monday. fuck the vape laws

My friend gave me a vap pen for wax and I've just been totally ripped all day.
Vaping out of my flipbrick after a long and hot week.
Last hours of 420, well happy 420 guys. Had a good day, went to christiania, dodged cops, went home, played guitar with a friend, went to a bonfire with him where we grilled sausages and played songs, now I just feel sort of empty because there were kids at the bonfire so we couldnt smoke up.
