I agree, one part of me likes this, but i hate amine, i hate spiky headed 15 year old marines which is way too much to fit hair in that helmet any way. I am against the style, the brute was way too big, I know they are huge but that's like King Kong!

You obviously don't know anything about the Halo series, it's not only about the Chief, and all Spartans have the same color Armour, color fades and turns lighter.
Edit-I made up my mind...I hate it this is going to break Halo.

I'd probably watch it if I was bored, but having space marines with cliche anime hair is just stupid. The parts where they were taking the grunts out was pretty neat, though.
The Spartan is fat. And how the hell can he jump like an acrobat!? Their armor is like 2 tonnes, and yes they can still jump pretty high, that doesn't explain the random speed this one seems to have. They took Halo characters and put them into a generic fighting anime. Where are the fire fights? The ODSTs are supposed to be just as bad ass as Spartans are except human so why do they look like pussies even when at the beginning they are described as beyond the regular grunts league. Nothing makes sense.

To be fair in the game MC can jump like he's on the fucking moon anyway.
Their hair is just gradients, seems like they skimped on details..
Just another reason to hate halo..

I guess I need to see the whole movie before I can really start crying how they raped halo. But by these clips.. Looking bad.

I don't know if you knew this, but it's done the same way in pretty much all animated stuff, not just anime.
You gotta remember, that in 2D animation, every single frame has to be hand-drawn. That's thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, of drawings. You think they're going to take the time to draw every single hair on their heads when they've got time and budget constraints? Even adding that gradient takes up extra time...They could have made it just flat colors instead.

Of course it has the same generic social subplots that all animes do. I can already see signs of 'that one kid' (the guy with the red hair), the kind of generic rookie guy who thinks he's better than everyone and wants to rise to the top.

It would have been better if they did it realistic anime style instead of the crazy haired anime and fast paced ninjas movements. Better yet, why not just a live action one like the Halo ODST trailer.
I'm not sure if it's just me or if the video is bad, but the animation looked really jumpy..and old.
And the Audio was pretty bad, maybe it's just this video though.

Jumpy animation? In other words it's poorly animated. Like a lot of animes are.

Haha, someone knows nothing about coloring.
Since they're using gradient,s that means the coloring was done digitally(no big surprise). If it's digital, then a gradient would take exactly the same amount of time as a flat color.
And that still doesn't excuse the existence of an SUPAR ELEET ODST who is in fact a scraggily haired emo kid with no discipline and a bad disposition.
And grunts with eyes? Grunts never had eyes. They had to actually put in extra effort to mess up grunts.
