I try to eat vegetarian when possible. Now don't get me wrong, I like meat, and I also think that forcing people to cook vegetarian is a dick move. But I don't like the fact that we're consuming mass amounts of meat as a country, when we really don't need to eat meat all the time. The Indians get by with it perfectly fine, and perfectly delicious.
Though I really dislike vegetarians that are in it for the image, or vegetarians that berate people who eat meat. Live and let live.
I'm a vegetarian, meat is disgusting imo.
Why would you wanna be something unnatural?
We have canines for a reason.
Yeah but meat was discovered. There was a time long ago when (early) humans didn't eat it, Only when cooking was discovered did people start eating a lot of meat. Horses and sheep also have incisors but they are vegetarian animals, the teeth don't mean everything.

Canine doesn't equal incisors.
Also, humans evolved to what we are by eating meat. Without the protein our brains wouldn't have developed to what they are today.
(Don't make up facts if you don't know what you're talking about)

Good job sounding professional.
Lack of protein makes vegetarians pretty dumb.
Also, canine teeth DO mean carnivore/omnivore.
Incisor means nothing. Just about everything has incisors.

Uhh you do realize we've been cooking meat over the flame since before the caveman right? Hell an entire period of 2.5 million years involved us cooking meat over the flame and eating fruit. Infact, some scientists theorize that cooking meat was part of our evolution, as the cooking of the meat allows us to get more nutrients out of it, and lessens amount of energy needed to digest it, such energy could be then be used in the development of the brain instead.
Also what the fuck does incisors have anything to do with it? Horses and sheep don't have canines you fool.

If vegetarians don't get protein they aren't eating anything but salad. And are very stupid.
Beans, grain, milk, and eggs give you protein. Even if you're a vegan you still have beans and grains to supplement you. If you do it right you're not changing much.

Vegetarianism isn't genetic, it's an idea. Ideas and lifestyles aren't genetic.
^^also the magnificent Moringa :p
http://edibleplantproject.org/2009/05/moringa/
The leaves are 38% protein with all essential amino acids. They contain 2 x the protein of milk/yoghurt (the highest protein ratio of any plant on earth), and 4 x the calcium of milk, 3 x the potassium of bananas, 4 x the vitamin A of carrots, 7 x the vitamin C of oranges and 3 x the iron of red meat. They contain omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids as well as antioxidants and phytonutrients. Moringa leaves are an excellent source of nutrition and a natural energy booster that is not based on sugar, and so it is sustained. Some consider Moringa protein better than soy as it is non-allergic. Moringa contains 18 of the 20 amino acids required by the human body including all eight of the essential amino acids found in meat products.
Eggs are a meat because you're essentially eatting an unborn dead chick
My sisters vegan. It's not that bad.
I like to eat vegetables, but I am not a vegetarian
I love vegatables, but I eat meat too.
I love wrapping a vegetable around meat and crunching down.
Eggs are a meat because you're essentially eatting an unborn dead chick
I'm fine with unborn fetuses getting aborted
I'm fine with unborn chickens getting munched
especially considering the fact that commercial eggs are unfertilized

oh man that fucking corn looks awesome
shit man I need summa dat shit
Thank you for that very valid and insightful opinion - ___-
I used to use that argument, and it's pretty poor to be honest, now that I see the other side of the story. But humans do lots of unnatural things... we might have the capacity to eat meat, but I think we're built to primarily consume fruit and veg - it's healtheir for a start
Stop there! No it isn't. In fact, if you feed a new born baby only vegan products, they can get very ill or die. When eating vegetarian or vegan foods only, getting proper protein is very difficult. Even when eating combinations of different protein containing vegetables, you still don't get s much as you need.

I hate thick meat like steaks. Sausage is terrible, steak is too thick(i eat some steak, just not the thick kind), and hotdogs are eaten in 2 bites...
Vegetables and Fruits can be eaten raw. Nuts can too, and nuts are good out of the shell. I love snacking on pecans fresh from my pecan trees.
were not babies :downs:
Uh, really?
My point was that a vegetarian diet is not healthy. The only reason your body can support it is because you are healthy at the moment, and even if you were ill, you could just takes supplements. If you lived in any other country (places in Africa) you would have died long ago. Ergo, a vegetarian diet is not healthy. vegetarian diets are diets like any other (including, say, an all meat diet), they have upsides, and they have downsides.
