I'm a vegetarian. Why kill innocent animals for their meat when we don't need it to survive? There's plenty of sustenance elsewhere.

I considered being vegetarian, then I got hungry.
I love the ignorant people who go on about how humans are meant to be omnivores, and our canines are only good at eating meat, and that somehow being vegetarian makes you less of a man.
It's all bullshit. Vegetarians are a lot like non-vegetarians, so long as you don't get some PETA-supporting asswipe. They don't have protein deficiencies, (except if they don't have a balanced vegetarian diet) their testosterone levels are normal, and they aren't physically weaker than meat-eaters.
Anybody (including meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, jews, etc) who bitches about someone else's diet is a douchebag.

Why exactly does it matter if they have a brain?
I understand that if something does not have a brain then it cannot think and therefore cannot suffer, but why care whether or not something suffered? The end result either way is that it is dead, on your plate, and in your mouth, or it is dead and died of natural causes, most of which are probably more terrible and agonizing than a quick death at the hands of an experienced man or machine.
Maybe I'm just a cold bastard, but frankly I don't care how my food feels.

This guy may have recieved the box for this post but he's pretty much correct. Even when i buy meat i try to buy free range whenever possible, so that i know it has been allowed to roam more freely and most likely killed painlessly (or as much as we can assume the animal feels)
Except i am a sucker for KFC which is probably the most nasy factory farmed chicken out there...
