If you are a part of any minority on Facepunch, you will pretty much have everyone against you. (Unless you are a homosexual, because 99% of Facepunch are)
A better way to put the "They are going to die anyway" argument, which is incredibly easy to put down. They are going to die anyway, so why not do it in a fashion that helps us, the top of the food chain, and other animals. If they just die, it leaves the corpse and all the problems and benefits of that. However, if we kill them, we can eat them, with no negative impact.
I say, we kill all the livestock cows, and eat 'em, and stop having them fuck at unnatural rates, or at that rate, sterilize them, and then no moar livestock.
Of course! (Intresting fact: it was the first thing I made in my graphical design course (your head asplode)) On topic: OP, a great food tip if you're veggie and want to make your own veggie food (assuming you eat eggs) is simply cooked and salted eggs and tomatoes. Also, tomatoes can even make the driest thing juicy!
<3 tomatoes. Eat them like apples all day long. Great snack.
Yeah I'm celery, what's up?
There's a problem with your argument, God isn't real. btw what you said is just plain stupid, meat isn't porn.
It's... erm... an analogy, you know?
(Unless you are a homosexual, because 99% of Facepunch are)
Ohohoh the wit is just overflowing in this one.
Yeah I'm celery, what's up?
What the fuck are you doing man get out do you wan get kilt [editline]03:39PM[/editline]
I realise the difference between veggies and vegans, and I was simply asking long-term veggies, in a nutshell, if the whole 'free-range, organic' thing is to be trusted, or if, ideally, I should avoid eggs - although preferrably not, because I love pasta and noodles.
Oh, free-range and organic shit? Meh. Not really worth it. The only thing I have problems with is the antibiotics levels bein' used in our feed. Also the whole wasted energy dealie. PS: Be a bro and PM me back mang
I'm not sure I understand vegetarianism. Why are animals so special? Just because plants can't move, and may or may not be sentient, why eat them over animals?
We swedes takes good care of our pigs, I would never buy meat from anywhere else in the world but here.
Yes everyone in Sweden takes excellent care of there pigs. And everywhere else in the world slaughters them inhumanly for fun:chef:
If I really have to, or must eat meat, I always make sure it's from Sweden because there is enough place here to breed them organically and for the animals to live until their time is right. Whatever most people say about animals being dumb, it's not really true. The only thing that separates us from other animals is that we can think. Animals still have feelings. I am one of the few veggies who are activists but that doesn't mean I'm an elitist prick. I wanted to change the world but I lost all hope in humanity and decided it'd be for the best if the world ended 2012. Now I just want "Vattenfall" (electricity provider) down because they use nuclear power instead of renewable energy as they still insist on it being safe. Anyway, whatever meat-eating elitists says... I still think that you have the right to decide what you want to eat without having half an forum pushing you down. The interwebs, serious business right?
Nuclear power is very efficient and safe what the fuck are you on about? With a responsible staff, combined with a ton of failsafe mechanisms, such as is standard in nuclear energy production now, it's virtually impossible to cause a catastrophic metldown. Nuclear energy is much more efficient than renewable energy, and the waste output to power output is very minuscule at worst. For an activist, you sure are close-minded.
I'm not sure I understand vegetarianism. Why are animals so special? Just because plants can't move, and may or may not be sentient, why eat them over animals?
the sentient part it's mean also animals we eat must eat plants and use their energy to make body fat and that's only like 10% efficient or somethin'
What the fuck are you doing man get out do you wan get kilt
wtf im celery, a vegetable what kind of faggot would want to eat me.

o.. [editline]08:43PM[/editline] break my fucking automerge again so i can personally beat the shit out of you [editline]08:44PM[/editline] kjkjkjkjkj ;) :0
Both. At first I went along with the whole animal cruelty thing just because I was born into it, but later on, I tried some meat. Bleurgh. It fucked my stomach up much in the way you're describing would happen if I DIDN'T eat meat. Probably because my body isn't used to it and doesn't need to get used to it.
I assume you're a grown man. If this is correct, by now it's impossible for your body to adjust to the intake of meat-based proteins. I know you already said this, I just want to clarify this to anyone before they start being retarded.
wtf im celery, a vegetable what kind of faggot would want to eat me.
But that's not what the title meant bro!! There are vegetarians here. [editline]03:45PM[/editline]
I assume you're a grown man. If this is correct, by now it's impossible for your body to adjust to the intake of meat-based proteins.
I dunno where do we put that shit when we're done with it wind looks pretty badass to me
We put it deep under the sea. Where the radiation can't get out. In barrels where the radiation also can't get out. And we have people transport the barrels in such a way that they cannot be irradiated past very minute amounts that happens daily.
But that's not what the title meant bro!! There are vegetarians here.
WTF!!!!!:aaaaa:
Impossible? Is that... a challenge?
Go ahead. You'll likely be hospitalized multiple times.

You can do it, it's just really, really, REALLY hard to do. And you'll end up damaging yourself a lot in the process. Don't fix what isn't broken. If you're handling just fine with no meat, and decide to switch, your body will fuck up. Same thing inversely, except you'll just have incredible urges to eat meat (because the human body was made as an omnivore) [editline]03:49PM[/editline]
ATM that's super illegal so you'll need to talk to the UN about that
If it's not under the sea (and the ground below it) then it's in underground facilities designed to keep all radiation inside it.
I don't mind vegetarians. I just hate them ones that eat fish. That's not vegetarian
I'm a vegetarian except for beef, pork, poultry, fish, and all of the other kinds of meat.
PETA sucks, vegetarians are okay.
Sure, but there's a ton more fruits!
I don't mind vegetarians. I just hate them ones that eat fish. That's not vegetarian
Also this.
If it's not under the sea (and the ground below it) then it's in underground facilities designed to keep all radiation inside it.
sounds p. expensive [editline]03:51PM[/editline]
I don't mind vegetarians. I've been a veggie for almost 2 years now :D I just eat a fuckload of pasta, noodles, fruit, veggies and i'll admin, as hypocritical as it is, some quorn/meat replacement stuff is nice but I don't eat it often. Veggies best friend: Smoothies :p They fill you up when you need it and are 100% healthy.
Yes everyone in Sweden takes excellent care of there pigs. And everywhere else in the world slaughters them inhumanly for fun:chef:
No, you got it all wrong. In Sweden there is enough room to take excellent care of pigs, but in smaller countries like Denmark there isn't. Rendering the possibility of it being industrially bread much greater. The same thing probably goes for the US. The main problem everywhere is generalizing. Not long ago when I started to think about the meat industry in USA. I instantly start thinking about the horrible cramped spaces and unfair slaughtering for McDonalds and KFC. Then I became "eco-freak" and realised all I did was generalizing all along and wasn't ready for love (unlike Elton John). McDonalds and KFC is two companies, USA is big. Surely there must be much more than two companies. The same thing is happening in arguments like this. Many meat-eaters has built some sort of twisted perspective about vegetarianism. Vegetarians aren't another breed, we don't think the same. I don't even agree with most of the other vegetarians I know, I simply do not eat meat. The world isn't going to end because of that... sadly.
how is it hypocritical it taste nice
