At least nickelodean is okay, I can still watch Avatar and DBZ, but that's about it.
At least nickelodean is okay, I can still watch Avatar and DBZ, but that's about it.
I carly will have a bunch of 9 year olds go to the internet. In other words Icarly is taking the innocents of kids.
Are you saying 10 years from now there is going to be a thread about people who misse hanna mantanna and total drama whatever? god I hope not.
If the quality of TV becomes worse, then most likely yes.
This thread is so depressing. Think I'm going to find all the old shows and just watch them all day. I remember when I was young one of the first things I did when I got home is lay down and watch Eddy try to think up a new scam while Edd told him how wrong he was and Ed did his lovable goof stuff. Oh god
You can still see some of the good shows if you get the boomerang channel.
Cartoon Network's new shows may suck, but they need ratings to even be here today.
I don't know about you guys but I think Adventure Time is trying too hard to be random and "unique" (like how Charlie The Unicorn was funny back in 7th grade). Chowder was something like that but Adventure Time is really the worst offender.
I never watched CN at all as a kid but that video made me sad :saddowns: (Reason: We brits dont have CN on anything besides sky)

It'd be better if the mic wasn't garbage and the narrator didn't sound like he had his teeth clenched the entire time.
I still watch most of these shows on Australian Cartoon Network :) http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.au/tv/schedule/index.php

What people need to understand is that television is a business. It's driven by ratings, if your show that is a technical achievement, that you have blown so much budget on and that has come to be a timeless classic is not getting enough ratings, you gotta cut it, and that's the end of that. They're not gonna do shows for a population that has already grown out of that stage, AKA, those who watched the more classic Cartoon Network shows, considering it's every time smaller as people grow, while the new generation of tweens and kids is one that is ever growing. There's no need to cry over it, face it, you're not gonna watch them now anyway, let the new generation watch what they want to.

does adult swim show in the UK? also I remember the day when toonami was moved to a separate channel and I couldn't watch it any more because it wasn't part of our package :smith:
Very interesting but i do agree with him, we will never see CN in the good ol' days [img_thumb]http://www.popolbook.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/cartoon-network.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.plaatjesupload.nl/bekijk/2010/12/29/1293613704-340.jpg[/img_thumb]
Wow. I can name about 90% of the characters on there. Such fond memories.
I was reading this thread with my little brother watching hannamonwhat-her-face in teh other room :smith:
i miss Evil Con Came and Billy and Mandy
Those were my favorites :saddowns:
everything is so anti-climatic and fucking tastless now-uh-days. Im fucking sick of it
<_< >_> I have the complete series of the powerpuff girls. :3:
Ed Edd and Eddy, Courage the Cowardly dog, Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken are fucking retarded and alot of them was. Dunno why i watched them when i was a child. THe single cool thing was Samuray Jack with his new cinematografic style, the rest was bullshit. http://tv.blinkx.com/show/samurai-jack/jRSnhLz04CAFpIAngZj-D9dLKjU#s1e2
Well that's sad.

Dexter's Lab, Ed Edd and Eddy, Samurai Jack, and Courage were my FAVORITE shows. As I was growing up and noticing that they were disappearing from TV, it was sad. Those shows disappearing greatly contributed to me no longer watching TV much anymore in general. Occasionally if I have absolutely NOTHING else to do, including nothing to do on the computer/internet, I'll watch it. Otherwise, as far as I'm concerned there's not really anything good to watch anymore. :saddowns: (Don't bring up the News or good sitcoms, I get the news online and watch some shows through youtube)

I remember watching Gundam Wing with my sister, and my older brother... Then when my brother went back to North Carolina I would stay up to one in the morning, and watch .//Hack. Even now man... I find myself going over old shows, and watching them without caring about the odd looks.
I miss Megas XLR. It was one of, if not the only newer show I liked from Cartoon Network.
I want to make a channel, and call it the Actual History channel, and in the corner the little watermark can be AH or something and it will have good documentaries and stuff, that would be so awesome. So then people can watch a channel for history with ACTUAL history on it.
The Powerpuff Girls movie is on right now, decided to flip over and see what was on. It was a pleasant surprise. :unsmith:
