Certain episodes are really good, but they have tons of time-stalling clips that aren't funny at all.

The new family guy episodes are getting dull compared the the first few seasons imo
I like family guy for the 2 jokes that are somewhat funny in every episode, but the unfunny fight scenes and the fact that everybody thinks family guy invented surfin' bird and the "HURF DURF THIS IS WORSE THAN THE TIME I DIED AND THEN KILLED ST PETER AND THEN RODE A T-REX LOLOLOL RANDOM FLASHBACKS" really put me off of the show entirely.

That is the reason my parents and myself got into the show in the first place. Let the "LOL RANDOM" people watch it and the people that actually understand it's (mostly) witty pop culture humor enjoy it.
Everyone says it used to be one of the funniest things in the world, and now its stupid, but I never saw it change, I have always loved family guy and look forward to it every week.
Family Guy, America Dad and Black Family Guy have no redeeming qualities what so ever. Everytime I watch an episode I almost vomit in disgust, one of the only shows that actually angers me due to how bad it is.
The only reason I hate Family Guy is the fact that it is created by Seth McFarlane who's other show that's absolutely original pushed King of The Hill off the air.

but thats the thing, the jokes are [i]barely[/i] funny at all. or it makes fun of things which should never be made fun of. I haven't watched the show in 2 years, apart from just watching an episode every now and then to see if it's changed at all, but I wouldn't doubt it if they made fun of columbine or Jones town(mass suicide)

to be honest, I don't find the cleveland show funny at all.
The newest episodes of Family Guy are painfully unfunny, but the older episodes are funny at times.
I've been watching it since season 2, it's definitely gone downhill since season 5 I'd say, with 2 and 3 being the best, but it's still good, very fun to watch with friends.
Family Guy is lately just plain retarded and the Cleveland Show is just black jokes we've all heard before. I find that American Dad is just general humour with believable characters, which is why I watch it from time to time.
I lost touch with family guy after the 3rd season, I like American Dad better now, at least it's a drunk alien instead of a dog that talks.

Why the fuck does it always have to be a competition? Seriously, Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park and all the others are great. They're funny, isn't that what it's about? Why can't they all be good? Why do you always have to compare?
A lot of people say the second Family Guy Star Wars was better than the first. I think the exact opposite. The second FG Star Wars had more "unfunny-things-that-tried-to-be-funny" parts than the first one, and it sort of pissed me off while watching it.
I love the Bruce segments, like Bruce as Jaws, the Bee, or the Alien Queen.
