Remember, Furries are completely normal people and the hundreds of thousands of really really weird shit you've seen posted like this all the time are just random occurrences. Perfectly normal.

Fun fact; During the 1860's-70's in Europe, there was an art movement originating in France called Japonism. Initially starting as a Japanese influence on Western art styles, or tackling traditional Japanese mediums of art with non-traditional Western painting styles. This lead to a massive infatuation with Japanese culture in Europe, with many Europeans importing Japanese swords, kimonos, and other goods in the 1870's. Unfortunately, the Boshin War in 1868 and subsequent Satsuma Rebellion in 1877 lead to a sluggishness of exports and a rise in prices, leading many to simply improvise Japanese goods with cheap, European produced knockoffs.
To make a long story short, for quite a while, the Victorians were fucking weeaboos.

Month/day/year actually makes more sense on computers since it works better with alphabetical order.
Month/day/year actually makes more sense on computers since it works better with alphabetical order.
but it doesn't because d comes before m

If you label all your files by date in numerical form, then if you use european classification you're going to have every first day for every month of the year first, then every second day, so on and so forth.
If you use american classification you get all the days of ONE month together and then it moves on to the other month.

When sorting by date you should use yyyy/mm/dd.

How is that useful for anything
Just use ISO 8601 for filename dates like every other sane person on the planet
YYYY-MM-DD
