Glad it didn't make the final cut, that's depressing as fuck.[/QUOTE] Prior to watching this clip I didn't even know that "Nuchal Cord" (the name for this situation) existed so my initial reaction to this was that it was just impossible or just some way over the top exaggerated death scene, like something i'd see in a final destination film. But I did some more research and I found out it is real. However I still think they got a little too artistic/creative with this concept because to me it looked really really silly and it kinda spoiled the sad mood. Glad it didn't make the cut too. The real danger of a Nuchal Cord is the cord itself getting compressed from looping so it cant 'feed' the baby, the wrapping around the neck part isn't whats really strangling the baby. Also Nuchal Cord is a common thing in child births (~30% of births) its normally not life threatening, the chances of death is like [URL="http://wayback.archive.org/web/20130409083502/http://vbacfacts.com/2009/09/16/umbilical-cord-around-babys-neck-rarely-causes-complications"]0.4%-0.6%[/URL].
