IDK I've met a few people that practice it, might be a little silly but it usually makes them feel a little better about whatever is stressing them out when they burn some sage and do a lil harmless ritual as a "luck charm" or whatever. Girls into witchcraft are pretty benign and aren't that cringy. Unless she was one of those like... "ooooh I'm gonna curse the people who wronged me" types that look like they cartwheeled through a hot topic or something :v:
