You don't find love. To use a cliché, it finds you. You'll be with the person one day (or maybe you'll stumble across a picture of the two of you) and you just kind of know. And you never forget that feeling that you have for that person. If it was really love, that feeling will stay with you for a long, long time, even if you break up or she moves away or whatever might come between you too.
And, hell, even if it's not love, enjoy the ride, kid. It's fun while it lasts.

This is a very big part of it.
Personally I don't think that one and a half months isn't long enough to decide, wait six because for the first months of dating a lot of people conceal who they really are and when they get comfortable enough they show their true self.
To know you're in love, are you happy with that person doing nothing? Do you get bored of his/her presence? Can you tell that person things you don't wanna share with anyone else for fear of looking like a pussy? maybe those are signs

Meh... friendship>love... friendship dosn't dissolve and die within a few weeks like most relationships.
Hello, everybody! I just joined FP yesterday, though I lurked about all last year. I guess that makes me well-prepared. Anyway, I'm a 19-year old at College Park, and recently entered the world of dating. My past relationships were pretty bad flops, and ended in either 'I just want to be friends' or 'I see you more of a brother'. However, I think I really hit the jackpot this time, and I really like this girl- we've been steady since the beginning of October. So I was wondering, how do you know when you feel love? I never was really felt 'loved' as a child since my parents are prude and unemotional, so I have no idea what to think about it. So, could you guys help me out? Thanks!
love is when your mind has a boner, but your penis does not

Most relationships, but not all.
"Love" is a beautiful thing. It makes you happy, and it makes you stupid. Normally you won't have a care for anyone else in the world, and when you and your love are together, nothing else in the world matters.
It's the best feeling in the world, and losing it is probably the worst hurt ever. It's worth it though.
Nothing lasts forever, but don't dwell on that. Have fun, and make it last.
You will probably experience a few dozen "omg im in TRUE love this time" scenarios over your life, then slowly realize those were mostly sexual attraction.
Later, you might realize that's what love is, give or take a few other carnal urge.
Well, the OP got banned.
