I don't know if you're trying to look cool or if you genuinely think that girls is a notable pro or con when thinking about what school to attend, but if you're serious, you have some fucked up priorities.
I mean. It's not a big deal, since my options are great at the present moment. So I can afford to nitpick.

When walking around campus is akin to being on Mount Olympus while a huge goddess party is being thrown, then yeah, it's a pretty notable pro.
Heading in the Fall to University of Dallas in Irving
The University of Dallas is a private Catholic, U.S. News and World Report Tier one regional (West) university located in Irving, Texas. It has a required curriculum based in the Western intellectual tradition and an integrated study-abroad program on its campus in Rome, Italy.

That's an interesting building but damn that colour is ugly as hell.
I go to UNT (University of North Texas). It's alright but after I get the majority of basics done I am going to try and transfer after my sophomore year (freshmen year right now). I'm going to try and transfer to UT Austin/Dallas since I want to major in Computer Engineering. UNT is more of a music school and I kick my self in the ass everyday since I didn't do the CAP program that UT offered.

I am planning on going to Pacific University in Oregon. Seems like a pretty nice school.
I am going to study archaeology/anthropology.

HARVARD UNIVERSITY MOTHERFUCKERS
Haha can you get in? Or afford it?
I got accepted to Stanford University, but the workload was just too much for me to deal with. So I enrolled in the Barrett Honors College at ASU instead. Ivy League or ridiculously expensive schools are overrated for anything not dealing with law or engineering.
I have a good friend who's in the honors program there.

So I found out a few days ago that the applicants to Computer Engineering at KTH rose with 30% since last year. I hope it doesn't affect my chances to get into the school.
Accepted my MComp at york.

Well obviously, to some extent it's going to, just by sheer odds. But if you're one of the top applicants, that probably isn't going to change.

Both for chemistry.

i didn't particularly like nottingham, both the department and the campus.
i didn't visit sussex, but i know it came top of the league table in 2010. however - someone who used to lecture and research there told me he didn't particularly like it.
though this is probably now irrelevant since you'll already have applied.

why so?
Someone tell me all about taking geology
What's the average workload like, what kind of shit does the course cover, all of that
It's what I'm leaning toward for fall 2012 but I really don't know, so I'm taking a long time to consider things

Geology? Woah man, at a glance it seems like a big workload in terms of memorizing and learning. Work though might be finding a place to survey and acclimating yourself to the earth's tectonic pace.

Every once in a while the earth gives a little fart and the geologists of the world simultaneously wet themselves. They'll rush to the site in their cargo shorts and polo shirts and stand around a seismometer doing absolutely bugger all. One of them might grow enough balls to get into a tin foil suit and stand next to some lava while others take pictures saying "Phowar! Geology is really exciting!"
When that's all done they all go back home and write about the coming volcanic apocalypse.

Yeah not to mention the pit of doom beside the library.

Sounds awesome. What about geophysicists? Do they also do bugger all, just for a bigger paycheque?
I was strong in math so I've been reading into geophysics as well
