Warm-blooded, birds have a very fast metabolism for flight.
I prefer dragons to be warm blooded because I like the idea that one would be warm if I hugged it.
Plus they breathe fire so it just makes sense.

did calculations for tall anthro-dergs before
2.3m tall anthro dragon weighing 96 kg (adding tail and wings, and quite a skinny build) will need a wingspan of at least 3 ish meters to stay under the wing loading limit (25kg/sqm) for birds. To match the same wing loading of the typical bat will require a wingspan of 8+ meters.
i haven't done torque calculations yet but albatross shoulder-locks, thick wing muscles with attachment to ribs should help along with a healthy dose of magic.
A full-size dragon will need massive wings to support itself in the air, with muscles that have cross-section area of 1.2m+ which will not fit (calculations from [url]https://sites.google.com/site/anthonysgurps/dragon-physics[/url] ), which also has wing loading of about 4.9 kg/sqm
and well, he's done calculations.
on warm-blooded and cold blooded...
I'm not sure if being ectothermic is a defining trait of reptiles; female pythons are known to shiver their muscles to raise body temperature to incubate eggs but i guess that's a special exception.
But who says a dragon can't shiver their muscles to increase body temperature to the point to allow sufficient metabolism to allow flight/be warm and snuggly?
Then again the point of being ectothermic is so you can operate under a wide range of temperature whereas endothermic things have a higher peak metabolism rate but a very small range of temperature.
Or you know. They can generate a counter-mana field to repel against the earth's natural mana field and create sufficient lift because their large size allows them to have a massive mana pool :v:

They're pretty chill, let you walk right up to them and they just sorta tilt their head at you
They all have the look about them as if you just walked in on them doing something awkward and they're staring wide eyed looking at you.
