I need pictures of feathery dragons.
I only just now remembered a book I once read long ago, "The Keeper of the Isis Light", that had a creature referred to as "Draco hirsutus" by the protagonist's robot Guardian, which translates to "hairy dragon". Said creature was the pet of the protagonist Olwen, the titular "lighthouse keeper" tasked with caring for the navigation beacon that guides settlers to the planet.
Isn't that the same artist that did the shark puppy, or am I mistaken?
It is, you can see in the FurAffinity link
I drew a kobold for my class assignment. :v:
I drew a kobold for my class assignment. :v:
So how many questions have you gotten about the muscles and bulges? :v:
I drew a kobold for my class assignment. :v:
kobolds always remind me of the game "Die by the Sword," you can actually play as some fictional characters like minotaurs and kobolds, but also as humans, elfs, wizards, the game is actually gory as hell and well made, uses a mouse to sword movement mechanic, so you swing the sword with your mouse. I used to be fuckin good at it. Its gritty By 'mod' he just changed the setting of the sword damage, btw
I drew a kobold for my class assignment. :v:
I clicked on the link the subscription email said you posted. That was definitely not a kobold. And wondered what kind of class were you in that let you draw that. :v:

DON'T TELL ANYONE :v: [editline]9th September 2015[/editline] And it's my Digital Art Design class in college, current assignments are learning how to do character sheets and whatnot. Some other guy in my class made his own fighting game characters and they looked pretty rad as fuck.

Same here. I'm not all that great at drawing myself, though that's mostly because I never really focused on drawing as an art form. Me, I'm more of a writer. Probably kinda shoddy even in my current style, but I feel like I've been developing a few semi-decent settings. Still, I've been writing a lot more often, short pieces on that Writing Prompts subreddit, though they usually get buried and forgotten since they rarely get any upvotes or replies, though I have gotten the odd "hey that's neat" on occasion. Kinda sucks, since I could do with them getting feedback so I could refine my style further. Not gonna derail the thread with them, though. After all, I haven't done any with dragons yet.
I need pictures of feathery dragons.
I got a pic or two of my derg with featherd wings: [t]http://i.imgur.com/LrKQ8Xx.jpg[/t]
I got a pic or two of my derg with featherd wings: [t]http://i.imgur.com/LrKQ8Xx.jpg[/t]
Reminds me a bit more of some kind of anthro gryphon (griffin? I forget which is the better spelling), but he still looks pretty damn cool. (and admittedly kinda cuddly) Probably has one hell of an appetite too. I mean, how else would you acquire the calories needed to fly with such massive wings? Same could probably be said for all kinds of dragons if they weren't just an artistically-rendered racial memory of snakes and crocodiles from back in the Stone Age. After all, flight's a very energy intensive activity. Also my Nox is gonna be here by Tuesday. Eeeee, can't wait!
It's become a running joke now with friends it seems that my character with those feathers and pointed maw is more gryphon than dragon. So much so that now i find myself adding not_a_gryphon as a tag to submissions. In my defense the pointed maw is still not a beak, he's still furred with feathered wings, and his claws/arms and feet aren't even remotely bird like in material, only somewhat in shape.

It would reduce the confusion and look great at the same time :v:
Either way works, I still like the "dragryphon" style. Also the hands and feet, while they don't look birdy, definitely come across as vaguely feline, almost like paws. Come to think of it, a half-dragon half-gryphon would probably be pretty badass.
So I'm sure some people would be getting tired of seeing my ugly mug keep popping up around here but- Goodbye crap old drawing style, hello much more pleasing [sp]and easier to draw to sate my laziness[/sp] new style! Also, much design tweaking to still be done because now I just look like Toothless got left out in the sun too long or something. Oops. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Oj2HpbC.png[/t]
Well, my small Nox finally arrived this morning, and after a quick "test drive" it definitely felt like a solid recommendation. Also, the lube that the guys make is pretty crazy, but damn effective.
