Hey, I can't lucid dream right either. My lucid dreams always go wrong, the only dreams that go right are the ones where I don't realize I'm dreaming.

Ever try just taking light naps on occasion throughout your day? Then choosing a day to tire yourself out by going all the way to at least 12, and having a time set in your head that you want to wake up?
Sometimes works. They key to it is getting your conscious mind to realize that it wants to know what is going on while asleep. Some shock tricks work, and some drugs do but honestly the only very consistent experience is by doing the described thing above.
Nothing really mystical about it, after figuring out how it "felt" I was able to repeat it with just going to bed and referencing how it felt.
I once had a dream where I caught something with my tail... then I realized I don't actually have a tail, and I woke up.
I've also had several dreams where I had wings.
I rarely lucid dream, but when I do I usually fly around. It's the easiest thing for me to do in a lucid dream, for some reason. I usually fail at creating stuff, changing the scenery, etc.
I wish I could remember more of my dreams, though. I remember maybe one or two a week, if that.
I once had a dream where I realized I was dreaming and took control and used it to turn myself into something scaly and admire myself in the mirror
woke up a bit more refreshed than usual, but it never happened again and my dreams tend to be more frantic and obsessed and nightmarishly out of control nowdays
You guys sure are lucky. I either dream of nothing, or have weird dreams about dark chambers with single lightspot lighting metallic chairs that began shaking and vibrating when I look at them leaving me to wake up in horror bathing in my own sweat and Lovecraftian-inspired fear. :tinfoil:
Also we need less dreams more dergons.
I just have a lot of dreams that play out as levels in weird story driven video games.
The worst dreams are the ones where you "killed", but don't wake up immediately. Its like my subconscious found a loophole to scare the fuck out of me by sending me to limbo for a few minutes. Just slowly rising panic until I actually wake up with my heart in a deep race.

whats funny is most of the time when i die, it still acts like a game and im just in spectator mode. A lot of my dreams are completely detached too so most of the time if i die i don't even see it as me.
The dark embrace of unconsciousness is the only respite from this waking nightmare that is existence.

I recently overdrew my bank account, I moved into an apartment where the rent is higher, and my youtube channel is making me less and less money every month. It was usually around $400 to $500 every month but now it's down to around $230 and dropping fast. I might have to start making unsubsidized loans to pay for school. I can't afford shit.
