Anyway, am I the only person who would just curiously look around and examine the shit out of everything in an abandoned building? I'm rather fond of ruins you see, even more so modern ones. Probably because when I was about 5 I used to go to the same place on holiday every year and was friends with a girl who lived there and we used to go rooting through an abandoned builder's office, collapsed water tower and a plot full of rusting cars. Then they went and sold the old manor buildings to somebody, interestingly that girl moved to the city where I also live now. :words:

Example: Pripyat. Everything had been left alone for 20 years and it left an eerie picture of a town quickly evacuated with things left just as they were by people who thought they might be coming back.
Then a couple of years ago somebody looted the entire place, stripped it bare. Now it's just some collapsing tenements and weeds.
There's alot of abandoned houses a couple of kilometres away from my house, unfourtunaley they are all locked up.

That desktop that was intact.... I use that same model as my server. It's probably got a 3.4Ghz P4, and 2Gbs of ram. It's got a PCIe slot too.

Most, if not all, explorers have a look and don't touch policy. I think it's cool to come across an abandoned building with everything still intact and left the way it was.

I know pretty much the time that the workers go there and leave there, but i don't want to steal anything #1. because I'm 13 and if i come home with a computer my parents are going to wonder where i got it. and #2. I don't really have any use for it, i don't even know how to set up a tf2 server.
I'm a bad person because I prolley would have taken a pc or two
