Luge is almost painful to watch now, especially the starts, on the first few turns they just go way too slow.
I personally think the decision to move the starts for mens and womens was dumb.

It was common sense to avoid PR problems, Womens Luge sucks now. Also, unlucky Canada, you were so close to a gold in Snowboard Cross.
I know, and I can see where it makes sense, but even the athletes don't like it, and for the mens its only a difference of 10km/h at the end, but some speeds earlier on have been reduced almost 60%

For the women it's unfair really, they can't get any speed at the start.
On Downhill Skiing Bode Miller got us a bronze. Some Canadian wiped out.

He had a good run.
Team USA, Team USA! #1 #1
Rofl.
All the buses they brought in from California to shuttle event-takers are breaking down. The pieces of shit can't make it up the hills to get to Whistler, and they're breaking down basically everywhere. I went to the hobby-shop on Saturday and saw 3 broken down Cali buses.
All of this because our Primer gets a stiffy on for Arnold Schwarzenegger, and can't be bothered to use our already suitable buses.
Also: Cypress mountain (Olympic event site) got rained on last night and lost 1 foot of snow. They just refunded 8,000 tickets.
Tommorow should be awful then.
It is annoying. In Australia it is at 10pm at night..... :'(

Well everything just ended for the day. What the hell are they on.
It's nice having the olympics in my time zone, and tv listings for my actual time zone instead of always eastern.
China did real nice in Pairs today, and it's too bad Canada lost all of it's advantages in luge, the start is everything for a lot of athletes.
you Canadians are so weird
snow is your race terrain and this is your home city, but you guys are sucking.
i was expecting you guys to have 8 gold medals by now.
It'd honestly be better if it wasn't in Vancouver, it just rains too much there, and we've had a terrible year for snow. It should be snowing in Whistler right now, not raining.
We just cant get anything right haha

This isn't China, where the athletes get pumped up for years by the gouverment and disapear after olympia again. And the games are nowhere near over.
Also, today starts Ice-Hockey. This is gonna be awesome (go Swiss team!)

Let's be reasonable. We could start Brodeur or Fleury and still win this game. Hell, we could start Jake Allen and win it.
Sweden just got another gold medal! :D We pwnd that french guy!
Norway just FAILED at biathlon.
Big fucking fail.
The Swedes deserved it though. They haven't gotten a gold medal for the males on biathlon in 50 years.
