the first one was the most memorable and recognizable movie ever. you could show the most obscure frame from that movie, zoom it in a few times, and people will identify it as from Jurassic Park. last friday my college was hosting an event in the Alumni Lounge where the main attraction was watching Jurassic Park (as well as pizza and a "dinosuar shooting range" where dinosaurs (and Nedry) were drawn on Construction Paper with targets and phrases like "SHOOT HER!"). everyone would quote the famous lines in perfect sync with the movie. and there was a guy dressed as Dr. Grant. it was the best night I ever had.
thats awesomecredible
The greatest movie of all time. God I need to go and buy the books.
The books are nothing at all like the movies really, so don't get your hopes up.
Jaarrasic park was such a simple Yet entertaining movie. It can also be summerized fast- Crackers get dino DNA from amber, make dinos and put them on tropical island. Lil raptors attack children on other islands. Scientis (&lawyer) go to island. The dinos rip 1/3 of those scientist appart. Lawyer gets killed pn shitter, fat ass gets acid on his face. Cuban army comes and rescues them. -perfect movie.
PLEASE /caps
Haha, I loved at that bit. Sam Neill is the coolest mother fucker ever.
Third movie wasn't that bad.
Did you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's fucking awesome
Did you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's fucking awesome
I remember playing that game on ps2. Fun game. I (and I presume everyone else did) always enjoyed setting my creations upon the visitors by "accident" : P Also, one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw it when I was probably about 4 or 5.
The third one was good i'll admit, but nothing compared to the first two.
Jurassic Park is awesome.
They didn't age well.
I almost forgot, I made a Jurassic Park Persona for Firefox.
I liked 2 a lot... except for the t-rex in San Diego.
All you guys raving about the CGI never saw the original Jurassic Park. The CGI was only in the remastered version released years later, the original 1993 release only had animitronics. As a film guy (and I feel like such a douche saying that) one my assignments in my film class was to study Jurassic Park. Fun times.

Fun times.
Uh, no. It was made with the combination of CGI and animatronics. Animatronics were used in partial dinosaur shots (especially when the actors needed to interact with the dinosaurs), and CGI is used when they need a full shot (or ones where they are moving quickly). The velociraptors would have been damn near impossible to do with animatronics alone. Note: I have the original VHS release. It doesn't look any different then the versions on DVD or on television (except being non-widescreen and fuzzier, lol).
I liked 2 a lot... except for the t-rex in San Diego.
yeah that was p. dumb but if jurassic park was real, and the fences worked, and there were no fat guys to turn them off, I'd totally go
Did you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's fucking awesome
I loved that game :3: I wonder if it got ported to PC... It did! FUCK YEAH! Edit: Speaking of Jurassic Park games, who here had Warpath: Jurassic Park on PS1? I did, I loved that game :3
Last sunday I reconnected the old vcr which hasn't been used for ages and when trying out a few tapes if they still work, I came upon a tv recording of Jurassic park. Needless to say, I watched the whole movie. I don't think I ever saw the third part and I've only seen the second part about twice.
Edit: Speaking of Jurassic Park games, who here had Warpath: Jurassic Park on PS1? I did, I loved that game :3
Was that the terrible beat-em-up? Haha it was so bad it was amazing. I had The Lost World on the Playstation, that was awesome - you could play as a raptor and make that "caough!" noise and rip dudes up.

And I had that game, I lvoed the raptor level in the warehouse, there was that bit of DNA on a veranda that could only be reached by doing this one move that I could never manage... Also, circle circle, x x, triangle, square, triangle, square, triangle, circle, triangle x. The code to unlock nigh on everything, I've never been able to forget that code.
Did you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's fucking awesome
Bought it again the other day for a couple of quid. Such a great game.
This movie is just lovely.
Did you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It's fucking awesome
Shame it was barely moddable.
Shame it was barely moddable.
true. but I do like messing around with the .ini files to do things like start with a billion dollars and have access to all dig sites at start, with 99 dig teams at my side. but it's worth doing the missions to unlock the Site B part.
I can't remember anything about this film, it has been so long.
Apparently they are working on a fourth one?
But to wonder what it's going to be about...
Especially when the subtitle is Extinction. I think it was scrapped after Crichton died. For the better really. So far as I understand it would have been more of JP3.
but if jurassic park was real, and the fences worked, and there were no fat guys to turn them off, I'd totally go
Hip hooray for missing the point of the story.
Especially when the subtitle is Extinction. I think it was scrapped after Crichton died. For the better really.
