Yeah, they spray it with water to weigh it down, but they can also mix it with glass/clear particles to make it look like it has more trichomes, to make it look worth more.
That is not true if you go on any reputable cannabis forum, many uk members will talk about the real risk of bud sprayed with glass or other small particles. It would be much easier to get away with spraying tiny particles of glass which look like trichomes and on a molecular scale has a higher density then H20. So it would make more sense to spray glass then to spray water on the bud, plus water on bud = moldy bud.
