2:43 EST, adjust that to your local time.
Yay, i can see it!
Its starting to turn black, but i dont know if there is any colour. I will check.
It's clear where I live, I can see the moon fine. Half of it looks completely gone right now
:sigh: I'm gonna have to miss it. I need sleep for stupid wrestling tomorrow, it's mandatory. Guess I gotta wait another 400 years for this. For those who are gonna see it, tell me what it's like, and if you could, try and show us some pictures, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. :unsmith:
sitting in my front yard in 24 degree weather, bundled up, watching the moon turn black. for the next hour and a half.
what's more amazing than the whole total-lunar-eclipse-on-the-solstice thing is that after thousands of years, humans are still completely enchanted with this!
What the hell aren't humans enchanted by.

trying to cut through the fog with my laser, it's getting worse
I'm watching it right now. I can see it from my porch steps if I look up. Brought the laptop out. Life's good. :3
It's starting to change colors, I can see it through my telescope.
Probably cause it's cold outside.
I'm not outside.
Ive been watching the live stream and Im going out there whenever I see a difference fro the last time i took a shot.
Going out again brb.
Well the wind managed to blow the fucking little string type thing I use to hold the shutter open off of the camera, now I have to hold the ice cold camera... Goddamnit. Not to mention the clouds rolling in more now.
Taking photos, omg this is awesome.
its half side dark and half side bright :buddy:
One time I am grateful to live in Florida.
Not a cloud in the sky right now
Damn it, the fog ruined it!
even tuning my camera right, I can't get a sharp image with the fog around, and the moon is dimming out more, so I'm screwed in about a few minutes, the fog will completely solid overcast.

Join the club. Hoping fog will leave, chances are not happening though.
The Earths shadow is slowly devouring the moon as we speak, and the moon can't do anything about it.
[editline]21st December 2010[/editline]
It is turning red, I suggest everyone take a pic as half the moon is red and half is white.

Set up telescope, point at moon.
Wait isn't it every 327 years, not 100.
I don't have a telescope nor a decent camera. :(
But it's still SUPER clear here. I don't see any red-ness though...Not yet, anyhow.
Damnit don't see red. Actually don't see much of anything except the faint glow of clouds.
