It's probably just called Vegas because it's the only city with electricity and thus the "city of lights".

That doesn't make sense, Las Vegas means the fertile plains, not "city of lights."
Wasn't Vegas one of the few cities not to be hit by a nuke?
Do fucking want
oh my god it's mel torme (singing) !!
tormé
I know because i saw that seinfield episode today with him in it
... And you have the option of choosing sides.
It makes sense, actually, I'd go NCR all the way, screw the Brotherhood.
You thought that too? Count me in as well, I want to count myself in the ranks of those brave men, women and ghouls, fighting wave after wave of faceless power armoured thugs with nothing but a hunting rifle.
... Unless the NCR has turned into an imperialist aggressor as a result of the Chosen One making evil decisions in FO2.
retards better make a comeback
The lawsuit was because they didn't make it. They had a certain amount of time (two years or something) to start full-scale development and they didn't.
It was about two things. The classic game pack bearing the name fallout and the mmo that bethesda wants the rights for. As far as i know there was no time limit because they sold the name, but kept the licence to make a fallout mmo. Bethesda lost the suit for the game pack but the mmo suit didn't finish yet i think. Or i just missed the results for it.
Fuck, I just washed these pants.
Is this game supposed to be turn-based like the originals? Or is it more like Fallout 3 but slightly different?
Is this game supposed to be turn-based like the originals? Or is it more like Fallout 3 but slightly different?
I hope it isn't like fallout 3 where it can't decide if it wants to be an FPS or a immersion breaking game of chance
why is there a republic of california flag.
as in why does the ncr use the republic of california flag?

Instead of a bear it's a two headed bear, so it's not the exact same.
Well fuck, time to buy another new computer to play this game.
It looks like they aren't screwing up the factions this time.
Looks okay.
I'm getting this as soon as I can get ym hands on it
Holy Shit it's a Claptrap.
:gizz::gizz::gizz::fh::gizz:
I'm really curious to see what they do with this. It'll be nice to return to the original location of the classic Fallout games. Here's hoping it'll be more open-ended than Fallout 3.
If you look at vegas it seems for futuristic so that means this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay after fallout 3 and fallout 2

What if they made another guy like Elder Lyons?
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONONONONONO I will never ask permission to wear power armor if people can wear it without being from the brotherhood
My hair stood up on the back of my neck when that familiar voice clip came on.
"War never changes."
Isn't strange that Vegas is city of lights right now
I'll only get it if it isn't turn based. I don't find 3d turn based games any fun, only isometric like the originals.
As soon as Three Dog said "War..." I said "War never changes..." with him, then nerdgasm'd
A: Above, that isn't ThreeDog. It's the ever-so-mystical being known only as 'The Fallout Narrator'. Never in our lifetimes will we comprehend his limitless power.
B: I hope this will be in first-person optionally or otherwise.
I'm a shallow FPS gamer and I'm proud of it.
NCR trying to take New Vegas?
Oh hell yes
The city has power? I thought nukes had an EMP field when they 'splode?
