Agreed, has anyone confirmed is it's 3 or 1/2's style? I hope the latter.
They said it would be 3's style.
"War, war never changes" Well your trailers never change either. This is exactly like the Fallout 3 trailer only a different area.
"War, war never changes" Well your trailers never change either. This is exactly like the Fallout 3 trailer only a different area.
All the Fallout trailers are like that. Rated incompetent.
The city has power? I thought nukes had an EMP field when they 'splode?
Indeed they do. Except EMP is called electromagnetic pulse for a reason. One from atomic bomb will temporarily render radio communication impossible and burn some electronics.
Fallouts answer to claptrap lol
That doesn't make sense, Las Vegas means the fertile plains, not "city of lights." Wasn't Vegas one of the few cities not to be hit by a nuke?
Highly likely, as its in a plain surrounded by high mountains no?
Fallouts answer to claptrap lol
it's from old fallout concept art so no
As soon as Three Dog said "War..." I said "War never changes..." with him, then nerdgasm'd
It's not Three Dog ya dumby.
tormé I know because i saw that seinfield episode today with him in it
i know but i can't be arsed to make the e with the little accent [editline]11:52AM[/editline] listening to it again it sounds more like the sinatra version
If you look at vegas it seems for futuristic so that means this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay after fallout 3 and fallout 2
All the major buildings you can make out in the video exist in reality, so I doubt it.
It sounds so much like Three Dog though :C
what rendition of blue moon is that is it new
As soon as Three Dog said "War..." I said "War never changes..." with him, then nerdgasm'd
snot three dog.
I never understood fallout, who sent the nukes? Why?
I never understood fallout, who sent the nukes? Why?
global world war
I never understood fallout, who sent the nukes? Why?
China and the US went to war, started nuking the fuck out of everything forever. Vault Tec. decided to use the war as an opportunity to experiment on people by locking them up in vaults with different issues and controls. One Vault was designed never to close, created Ghouls. One Vault was designed to close and never open, Vault 101. One Vault was given 999 women and one Man, Vault 69. One vault was given 999 men and one woman. Vault Rapetown. One vault was populated by several hundred men, several hundred women, and one panther.
I never understood fallout, who sent the nukes? Why?
I might be wrong on some parts but I think this is it China invades Alaskan oil fields, Canadian forces repel Chinese invasion, USA take initiative to invade weakened Canada and annex it, global nuclear war breaks out and shits everything up
The Blue Moon song is pretty awesome. Looking forward to listening to it on a new PipBoy.
The sign is fucking epic. My question is, why is there a california flag behind the guy, and secondly, all the lights are on it's like nothing bad happened.
I might be wrong on some parts but I think this is it China invades Alaskan oil fields, Canadian forces repel Chinese invasion, USA take initiative to invade weakened Canada and annex it, global nuclear war breaks out and shits everything up
Almost. China invades Alaska, Canada proves uncooperative but strategically important in getting the Chinese off American soil. America also sees an opportunity to seize its natural resources and annexes it using an attack on one of their pipelines, blaming Canadian dissidents. America successfully kicks the Chinese out of Alaska and is planning a retaliatory strike on their soil when the nukes are rolled out. People were already building towns in California less than a century after the Great War. By Fallout 2, there are considerably larger towns, cities and a government which commands large amounts of land (see above). Long story short, civilisation got back on track instead of squatting in ruins.
They said it would be 3's style.
:frown: It should be in the KotOR style, that worked well.
I'm seriously considering getting this game now.
The city has power? I thought nukes had an EMP field when they 'splode?
Well actually Las Vegas is powered by the Hoover Dam so even in real life one people are all dead the power will stay on until some machine completely breaks down. Which happens in only for a couple of months so that's irrelevant anyway. NUCLEAR POWER IS MAGIC OKAY.
I wish there was more unique games being released, I'm tired of playing the same shit in a different location
Bloooooo moooon Looking forward to this!

And yet they have all this advanced technology like robots and laser guns.
If think about this the West of Fallout Universe is more advanced than the East cause there is rain,Some times cars,Boats, farms, vault city
Thanks but why is everything 1950's eqsue? And yet they have all this advanced technology like robots and laser guns.
The nukes hit in 2077, however fallout is set in an earth where the whole 1950s culture thing never ended. So some technology went ahead, while others stayed grounded in 1950s stylisation. [editline]02:59AM[/editline]
As soon as Three Dog said "War..." This version of Blue Moon is by Sinatra. Never much cared for his stuff, other than Beyond the Sea, but this feels perfect.
