What do you consider a minor? Because at the field I play at, all ages are allowed with the waiver. The little one are pretty well behaved too.
Jesus christ, I don't like airsoft but this is fucking stupid. All this will accomplish is people making real guns look like airsoft guns.

The pink toy gun was really the real gun and the real gun was an airsoft gun.

I don't see why people below 18 shouldn't be able to play. As long as you're mature about it and don't go swinging your gun around in public like this little jackass did.
At sites in the UK if they allow under 18s to play they usually have to be accompanied by an adult
my local sites do this as well

Since airsoft is basically 18+ in Canada me and a few other guys made a team specifically for underage people. The motto is "Putting toys back into the hands of kids". I'm 16 and I don't think I should be banned from airsoft because of that. Like my friend's dad uses his airsoft gun to teach him proper gun safety such as keeping it in a case in public and remembering to put it on safe and remove the mag when it's not in use.
I'm 16, it totally depends on maturity imo. You get grown men fucking around as much as you get kids.

[SP]I'm just joking, you horrible people[/SP]
I'm 16, it totally depends on maturity imo. You get grown men fucking around as much as you get kids.
But there's a difference in how you can handle a kid being, well, immature, and an adult being a fuckwit. That, and legal responsabilities. Beyond waivers (which, at least in my country, do fuck all to help if a kid gets harmed. The insurance may help but, legally speaking, the owner of the field or whoever shot at the kid is still responsible for harming a minor and can get into a major legal clusterfuck) minors are not responsible for their actions, adults are. That's part of the complication. I'm not really interested in knowing whether you people support minors playing or not (I imagine you do, almost all of you are minors). It's just curiosity on which countries allow minors to play.
What do you consider a minor? Because at the field I play at, all ages are allowed with the waiver. If you're under 18, you need consent, and you need a parent/guardian signature. The little ones at Combat City I like to call Flakkies. When I have a bunch around, I command them to do things no normal, sane person would do. Though, when I do take a game seriously, I have me and the Flakkies storm bases and capture them. :buddy:
We have smaller kids at HVA. I call them dinner.
I almost can't wait for some guy to paint his real gun in bright colours, proceed to get ignored by cops, so that he can easily shoot them in the back. Almost. Since this is a horrid thing and I wouldn't wish it on any cop.
Fcku da poleese

It's going to the assembly, apparently. Let's hope this shit gets shot down.
If it passes, there's no way in hell that I'm repainting my shit I'll go to every game with a bunch of rainbow tape around my gun but that's as far as I'll go

i'll spraypaint my shit black, if people say that a gun that used to be clear, but I sprayed it black looks metal, then I have no problem with spraypainting an orange gun.
You live in California?
I do
If it passes, my future helmet cam videos are going to become seriously retarded.
im going to paint my AR15 bright colors and then go on a killing spree at school and noone would have ever known
Just called my State Senate representatives and said "No" on SB798. Also called some friends and asked them to vote "No" on it too. This could put a lot of people out of jobs and get rid of millions of Tax Dollar revenue from this sport. It's going to make the economy worse for everyone just because a mentally retarded 13 year old kid pulled out an airsoft gun and waved it in front of a cop. Painting airsoft guns bright colors won't make us any safer. There have been cases where cops shot people wielding squirt guns. I don't know about you guys, but if I was going to stop someone, and they pulled out ANYTHING resembling a gun, I would shoot first and ask questions later. Better to be safe than dead, right?
