God damn it fucking California and its shitty ass liberal laws
This isn't a liberal law... if anything it's of a conservative nature.

It's a modern liberal law. I assume you're referring to classical liberals when you say it's not a liberal law. This is California we're talking about. They're anything but classical liberals.
California sucks when it comes to gun laws.

Blame the soccer moms and the anti-gun activists who never seem to get the idea that banning certain guns won't stop them from getting into the state by illicit means.
California is run by soccer moms if you guys haven't noticed

Every time I see the logo on op I keep thinking it's a luger and not an ar15 :v:
I don't want to sound like a defeatist but I fear that the airsofters are largely outnumbered by the "socccer moms".
We have the NRA behind us, and multiple companies and corporations behind us, all pushing for 798 to not go through.
Plus a fuckton of people from around the US, and sometiems other countries are sending in shit and calling.
Hopefulyl the politicians in California will get the hint that it's something that shouldn't be passed.

Some of those "people" are being absolute tools!
Honestly, on the whole paintball vs. airsoft thing, I find that most of the people who are so one sided for paintball (or airsoft) Have never played one or the other, and when a paintballer trys to defend their positions, they just say things like "Airsoft doesn't hurt at all" and "Its boring" When, in actuality, they both have pros and cons, airsoft for realism, and less mess, a touch bit more inexpensive (other things) And other stuff for paint ball.
I've played them both though, And I can honestly say I enjoy Airsoft a far bit more.

I have lost faith in paintballers now
:smith:
What the hell. "I dont like airsoft so let it die :downs:"
Tl;dr but here's a link to an online petition against SB 798. I've signed and left a message, as well.

Oh, and it's bullshit that they took PB guns out of the bill but airsoft was left in there.

That is because its pbnation - the literal asshole of the paintball community.
This is quite a shame. Here in VA, all of us love guns, even liberals. But the problem is that Airsoft games are few and far between. We see CA here as the "Holy Grail" of Airsoft. As for paintball, we all know that their inflated companies emptied their pockets to be "ignored" by the Californian legislators. The ONLY thing I could see good come from all of this, is that Evike will finally be sent to the pits of hell, never to poison Airsoft players with the wrong gun or gear after a long shipping time.
I think you mean AIRSPLAT because Evike isn't that bad from my experience.
I like Evike.

I laughed very hard, majority of paintballers are as stupid as the bill and the politicians that created it. We should have tighter regulations on the buyer then the guns itself, I asked my brother to vote so as my cousin hopefully soccer moms won't screw us over cause they are the ones that probably buy it for the kids that get shot over it.
If this law passes that means fake guns will be illegal and real guns will be legal. Someone didn't think this through...

Stupid soccer moms and them trying to censor and ruin everything.
I want to punch Soccer moms so hard into their giant uteruses.
Won't this affect the whole 'murrica? What about internationally?
Won't this affect the whole 'murrica? What about internationally?
It will give Canadian soccer moms more ammo to try to ban our sport with probably.
Won't this affect the whole 'murrica? What about internationally?
It will just affect California, but there's a chance that there's going to be a domino effect and other neighboring states will follow.
Personally, I think that they should make a law that states you cannot sell airsoft guns easily in reach of smaller children, eg. Walmart, Gander Mountain, etc..
And make airsoft guns only available through Airsoft distributors like Airsoft GI .
Doing this will cause many of the irresponsible people (many of them get their guns from big chain stores like Walmart, Gander Mtn, etc) to well, not have airsoft guns and will prevent them from doing irresponsible things, simply because they do not have an airsoft gun.
I think many people when they go out in public, etc with their shitty clearsoft guns from walmart don't think about what their doing, and buy the guns because they're right there in walmart, and don't think at all about what they're doing.
Make Airsoft guns only obtainable through airsoft stores, and you'll make people think.
My post on that PBnation thread.
Hope this doesn't pass, soccer moms at work again I see. Here in Finland we don't have any big regulations regarding airsoft guns, no colored tips etc. There's been attempts though, but so far we're good.
