Washington Capitals Stole my Dads logo - General

I think that was pretty shitty of those guys. Not to mention, I think your dad's middle logo is pretty damn sweet. I emailed them about their actions and how your dad should be payed for his work. Good luck OP.

Okay? Your dad's logo is slightly modified and used by an NHL team... I wouldn't care if I was getting paid or not if I was lucky enough to have a hockey team use my logo I would be happy as hell.

You've already stated that your family is living at your grandparents ,and you need money. Therefore, your father is doing a tactic known as Grave-Digging. Grave-Digging is when someone is low on money ,and they failing attempt to find old things they've done ,and look for similar things out in the market right now ,and attempt to use it to sue the bystander company using said product for scratch money. This has [i] nothing [/i] to do with a logo being used if anything your family is being a bunch of low-lifes ,and attempting to rob the players of the Capitols of their pay checks. Any real fan would of said "Cool" ,and would of showed off the logo to his friends at bars during hockey games to basically say "Ha, that's my logo".

Oh god, I just noticed the Winnipeg Jets and NY Islanders logos on the page. Those are terrible!

For someone trying to make living out of graphical design I have to say the page isn't very... how to put this... good? I mean, it's got Google ads. Is he trying to make money out of us reading his article about taking money from him?

Not to mention, if the Caps loved the logo so much to steal it, why wouldn't they have done it in 1995 and 2000-2003 when they were talking about (and did) change their logos.

In fact, I think I'll drop Mr. Ted Leonsis, the Capitals owner, an email and see what he thinks about all this. He's considered one of the more "fan friendly" owners in the sports world and runs a blog so I wouldn't be surprised to get a response. EDIT: I sent an Email to the Capitals asking for a statement on this allegation.

That website has stuff all over the place one ONE BIG PICTURE that I cant even tell what I am supposed to do.

The website doesn't load for me, even after allowing javascript. It just sits there with a white screen until I get bored. I left it loading while I went to get a drink and it was still white when I came back.
