AP teachers in a nutshell.
The tryhards of all the tryhards on the planet (the teacher that is not you). Really is sad that the classes are designed for people with TRUE, COMPLETE, AND UTTER interest on the topic, yet colleges find a student with 6 APs more attractive than a student with only 2, pressuring everyone to do random AP classes across the board. I'll have done AP Java by the end of the year, and AP French by the end of next. Both subjects have only one AP class. Sorry colleges, I'm not interested in Art, History, English, Biology, and Chemistry all at the same time.

I had to switch out of my AP US History because there was a conflict between classes in my schedule, and since I have A's and high B's in all my other classes, I decided to change AP which I was floating around with B's and C's, like a lot of other people in the class. Losing the AP class opened up another block to fix my schedule, so now I'm a guidance intern for the rest of the quarter, where I have no tasks at all so I just study, do homework, and use the computers for Codecademy. I miss the AP class somewhat, I like the subject and my classmates (hell, the girl I like and have been getting to know more was in my class too) but at least there's a big weight off my chest and I don't have to take my chances on the AP exam.
