Both my Mom and Dad are also Taiwanese. My Dad was a first lieutenant of an engineering division in the ROCA. He carried the T65 but never had to use it, basically all they did was build bridges and stuff. The most exciting story of when he was in service was that they got lost in the forest for a few days. Got more war stories in my family, but that's all that I can get off the top of my head right now.

My mom was born in Indonesia but moved to Taiwan very young, where she was raised. My dad was born in Malaysia. Both are "chinese" in ethnicity, not indigenous. I wish I had parents/grandparents with military service. I feel like it would give me an advantage. Maybe I do and everybody's keeping quiet about it. Maybe my ancestors, because I'm Asian, and as we know, white people don't have ancestors. :v:
