Got a flat tire on a high speed ringroad. Almost an hour of freezing my ass off changing the wheel on the side of the road, buried in snow because there was no good place to stop. ughughhgh Okay, so it's finals week at my school. Two periods a day for 3 days, each period being two hours long. It's kinda a long time, but most classes finish finals before the actual finals week so it's just dicking around most of the time. First period: English. We have small SSR book oral reports to give and it's generally pretty fun. Free seating too, so I sat near the middle of the new circle of desks. The teacher chose his seat, and some girl I hardly know chose a seat just in the background of where I'd have to look to see the teacher. So throughout these two hours I keep instinctively looking at the teacher and accidentally making some pretty strange, accidental eye contact with the girl across the room. She wasn't unattractive but I really just didn't want to bother, I had other things and people on my mind, and so after class I just headed out first, since I was closest to the door, and started walking towards where me and my friends usually sit, but turning around and setting off for the bathroom after only walking for a little bit. Of course in the distance I'd traveled already and the direction the girl had apparently been going made it seem like I'd turned around with some newfound initiation to talk to her, and she quickly looked up at me expecting me to say something as I just walked past her to the bathroom, with a meek little hello to excuse myself. Why can't I do this shit intentionally.
