So i found my dad's album full of photos of the jeeps he used to own, so much awesome shit in there. Found some photos of my grandfather in wherever the hell he was during WW2, but i'm just confused.

He was in the British army (i assume since he and the rest of my family are British), but he was driving a jeep around yugoslavia with a big star in a circle on the hood, aparrently assisting the partisans and making maps, but in all the photos of him he looks casual as fuck aside from a beret.

I've never known my grandfather too well and my family is awkward in that we hardly ever go visit him or talk to him, but i feel like if i don't go and ask him what he did in the war i'll never find out.

I might ask my dad if he doesn't talk about the war for a reason first, though. Just so i don't accidentally bring up horrible memories or something if i ask him about it.
