Indeed it is. I'm use to playing and watching Union, so some things in League confuse me as well.

I watch alot of Union, League seems strange to me. :v: Seems odd not to have rucks or mauls.

So, what determines it being League or Union? Location?

Union has more men on the team, the scoring is different, (try 5, conversion 2, pen/drop goal 3) and you get lineouts, rucks, mauls, and scrums. I think League is a more streamlined version of Union imo.

good half Union tackling is basically "pile on" and is a much slow game as a result. They also scrum a lot more and that takes ages to figure out. I like league because it's always constant action rather than the ref shouting at people because they're not scrumming properly

We played Australia a fortnight ago, got completely slaughtered in the first 10 minutes, they had 2 trys. it rose to 26 - 0 at the end of the first half. however the second half was amazing, england gaining on aus by scoring 16. end of match was 26 - 16 to australia then we played new zealand (former world champions) and absolutely thrashed them. 20 - 12. we haven't won against australia in a final for 37 years, i can't wait to see how this pans out

If they can get a better play strategy going, they could easily take back the lead, only being down by 4.
