Balaclava/Recon wrap + Flakjack goggles = money saving solutions for saving teeth and eyes.
Damn smart solution tool.
Very Nice thread, on a side note anyone know a good site for a S.W.A.T Loadout.
Very Nice thread, on a side note anyone know a good site for a S.W.A.T Loadout.
Since all SWAT teams vary, which one? You want the real deal equipment or are knockoffs ok?
Uh give both for price reasons.
I wouldn't recommend Arena Flakjacks as they fog quite easily but they can be had for cheap here.
Uh give both for price reasons.
I'm just going to presume you mean the LAPD SWAT team... Navy Blue BDU Coat(http://www.bdu.com/F545455412.html) and Pants(http://www.bdu.com/F520155412.html) Black Tactical Boots (I just like these, http://www.lapolicegear.com/baenseul8wat.html) Black Alta Kneepads (http://www.optactical.com/tatakn.html Alta Elbow pads too if you want) Safariland 6004, Black (http://www.optactical.com/safariland6004.html SERPAs are probably ok too) M4/Mp5 variants Black Mich 2000 (http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=25130) Bolle X800s (http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=254_261&products_id=2118) Black nomex gloves (http://www.lapolicegear.com/haflglwino.html) SWAT vest (http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=20751)
http://www.safetyglassesusa.com/ lots of high and low budget options section specifically for aisoft. alot of these meet ansi Z87.1, which is strictly required for my airsoft group (taso) http://www.safetyglassesusa.com/airsoft.html [editline]09:49PM[/editline] with minimal profile goggles(motorcycle style or 'bug eye'), would it compromise the safety rating to drill tiny ventilation holes in them? or maybe slots with a dremil tool

I was thinking of a loadout from MW2 too, but that i know what to get a suit and body armor.
no. Do not do this. Get a half face mask and wear goggles, this way you don't look like a tool and it costs less.
I was kidding
How about simple U.S. Military surplus goggles?
How about simple U.S. Military surplus goggles?
Those dust and wind goggles? No, they were just made for dust, wind, and like sun. I would like to get a pair of those like jockey goggle things though, I see a lot of like SEALs and sky divers wearing.
only question is whether they can take a BB hit. They're not classified for projectiles of any kind, or are they?
Which ones? the dust goggles or the jockey ones? Probably neither.
Yeah I meant both. I have a pair of the kind skydivers use (traded them for a pack of smokes lol), and they don't feel like being able to withstand a BB..I don't want to test it either, in case they break! :v:
The ones with the little gold disks on the sides? I was under the impression they were like a rubber material, I'd never held them in person so I was just guessing.
Well the only way to tell is to see what they are rated to and if you cant figure that out, you need to shoot them. If you shoot them, shoot them at different angles instead of just shooting them straight on.
Is there a soviet gas mask that can be used for airsofting? link it please .
Using a gas mask for airsofting is dumb, I'm just letting you know now before you order one. They make it incredibly difficult to breathe, they fog up, they get hot as shit, ect.

I mean really, it limits your field of view in the first place, makes you sweat and will just make your day a living hell. There's reasons why troops don't wear them everywhere they go. Hell I'd take a crappy paintball mask over a gas mask any day.

The one time I played with mine, I just popped the filter off, which stopped the lenses from fogging. Other than that, yes, it sucked pretty bad.
if you really want the look you could go for a half-face gas mask
