i don't think petitions will help doesn't Sweden have any public attorneys or civil rights organizations that can take up his case?
Post it on a bigger website like reddit or something, they love shit like this
Signed.
I will not be signing, the man is illegal. Why should he be allowed to stay when there are other illegal immigrants being deported?
I will not be signing, the man is illegal. Why should he be allowed to stay when there are other illegal immigrants being deported?
Way to read the thread man. His country was in danger so he was allowed to go and stay in whereever the OP is for a time.
Don't wanna sound rude, but they aren't deporting him just cause they think it's funny. Why did they deny his asylum request before? You made the Swedish police look bad, but you said nothing about your friend. For all we know, he could be a wanted killer in Lebanon. I dunno, this just sounds too fishy, until more info is provided.

We all know nothing implements immigration and naturalization policy like a bunch of hipsters clicking stuff.
To all who are saying this guy is wanted in Lebanon/he's linked to terrorist organisations - its unlikely. This guy fled the war of July 2006 which wasn't pretty. Having been there and having to escape to Syria by road, I can vouch for that. Khaled probably lived in an area which was under heavy fire from the Israeli military and in Lebanon in 2006 you couldn't simply move away from it. Unless you owned a house/had family in the mountains, you were pretty much fucked. I live in quite a modern area of Beirut (all the kids here speak French with each other with perfect accents, its hilarious) and we had debris from an explosion fly past our building. We had no choice but to go to the mountains and stay there. It's very normal to find Lebanese people who have fled this war and the civil war a couple of decades ago. This guy may very well be wanted/linked to terrorist organisations but that's not a conclusion that should be jumped to straight away. To be honest, the Lebanese government doesn't have the capacity to bring back people even if they wanted to, there are far too many problems back home as it is. We don't need more problems coming back - not to say Khaled is a problem. I highly doubt the guy has done anything of harm.
To be honest sweden is having a really hard time with all these asylum seekers, I'm not signing it sorry bud
Why was his request denied? They always give a reason, and you can re-appeal with more evidence. Asylum will always be given to those fleeing conflict who have evidence. Documentation of identity is almost essential. More info is definitely needed.
