In the comic she sniffs some sort of powder, but it's not said what it is. In the movie script, she is using some sort of adrenaline shot. It's not in the movie though.

It's called an ID. It's a legal document that has your birth date on it so you can be identified as 18+, or 21+.
I have to agree, the 28 days later part was extremely well made.

They do have both of those in real life now, It's not something out of a comic book.

Well the 28 days later theme is an actual song by an actual band, they just used the one part of it that you always hear. I forget which band it is, you could look it up. Some metal band.
