Just got back from watching it. Holy fuck that was awesome. Although I read about Hit Girl sniffing coke in this movie, something she didn't. Must have been cut due to the chance of angry parents. Also, there was a scene of some guy sniffing coke off some naked chicks, which wasn't in the movie either. I'm hoping for a director's cut, or an extended version DVD.

In the comic, Hit Girl is seen sniffing a "Compound". It's never said if its coke though, she says it's something made by scientists.
Went to see kick ass today, to be honest it was kind of meh. It started as just a comedy and it was pretty funny. Then about half way through it went all plotful and actiony, and the character of kick-ass got more and more annoying. Then it picked up towards the end with the hit girl scenes, which were cool. So basically, when it was being a comedy about Kick-Ass failing to be a superhero it was funny, when it was an action/comedy about Hit Girl it was both awesome and funny, but when it was an action/comedy about the title character Kick-Ass it was neither funny or awesome and was, to be honest, pretty boring.
Plus all the good jokes were in the trailer.

Just came back from Wondercon where I met the whole cast. Nicholas cage could barely speak, apparently doing some voice along with an allergy gave him a really hoarse voice for a while, funny stuff, he said he was sorry for speaking like a blues jazz player. :v:
Can't wait to watch this movie, although the cast did kinda spoil some things for us completely randomly..

I just got back from talking to a friend who saw it.
We both read the comic, and he told me the comparisons between the comic and the film.
One thing that was a big let down was that [sp]Big Daddy died like a hero in his injuries by burning in a building, but in the original film he was shown to be a huge phony. He died a humiliating death by gun to the back of the head, which was really dramatic and hard to swallow.
