I'm doing this and the 200 situps at the same time starting today. The only crappy thing is I'm level 3 for first day push-up but in sit-ups I'm level 1.
I just did day 2, really tired now.
Decided to do some 50 jumping jacks, 70 leg curls (20 more curls then 2 days ago) and did 30 sit ups (10 more then i did 2 days ago) with the day one set of push ups.
I did the first day on Monday. I started out on week one, column three. (Rank three) Arms were rubber yesterday but they're fine today, tomorrow should be easy.
I'm in. Did the first day, now on the second.Feels great.
Nah, I'll just sit back and eat cookies.
I did this last year, VERY effective.
By the end I could do 87 consecutive pushups, that's my 2 arms supporting my 160lbs fat ass.
There was no jar in the world I could not open.
Day one complete.
To the guys who said push ups do not make you gain muscle mass, I want you to back up your claims. Any damn exercise that literally rips your muscle fibers, will trigger protein synthesis.
My triceps are perhaps the most visible gain in my body. All from push ups. That to me is enough evidence, that there is indeed protein synthesis, and muscle gain from push ups.
You'll gain muscle mass from virtually any exercise.
However, the mass gained from push-ups is nowhere near the mass you could gain from exercises that involve weight/added resistance.

yeah, but most facepunchers are not even able to do it with added resistance, so push ups are a good start.

Did day 2, it was noticeably harder than day 1 for me. Looks like i'll have to redo week 1

Did the second day of the 200 situps program. Well, kinda. Could do only 30 of the minimum 38 situps in the last set, so I guess I'll have to repeat this week

So I finally decided to try this thing out. Started 3 days ago, from 30 to a bit more then 40. Manageable.
Just started day 2, still feel my muscles from day 1 though :v:

Nevermind, found out why it didn't work. If you are using pushupslogger.com, don't add twitter to your account as you won't be bale to commit the results.
Just did my 2nd day, I was able to push myself to do 35 pushups, a 5 increase from the initial test :woop:
