I dont feel anything :(
Same here.
Sweet. Highfive!
It was about 11 on the first session? Did 16 today (2nd session), didn't seem to take it out of me as much.. but I guess I won't know till tomorrow.
I thought you were supposed to take a day off? Oh nevermind, the post was 23 hours ago.
about to start day 2. wish me luck it went great. my arms aren't as bad as the first day. I did my max, last time it was 15, now its 20. it went up 5! I'm on the road to success!
I can't do my 2nd day. When I try to push up my left arms feels like a muscle is going to rip and pop at the same time. Not just the usual 'tired' but more 'something's messed up'. :smithicide: Guess I'm down to squats only. :smith: I'll do situps instead of pushups then! [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] oh wait, I just needed some rest! I just did the last set for the day and did 15 even though the minimum was 7! :v:

I'm probably going to give it another day before starting once again. I don't seem to be doing the push-ups incorrectly so don't see where the problem lies. Plus, I'm skinny as hell so it can't be my weight.

may I encourage you all to go log your info in the threads that somebody will post for each day? http://www.facepunch.com/group.php?groupid=2177
no thx i like being fat
Well good news, pushups will likely make you gain a tiny bit of weight. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
It was about 11 on the first session? Fucking hell, I started getting super nervous and stressed out... So I just decided to do some pushups, didn't count them but I did many more than I normally can do. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] So all I have to do to be able to do this is to get meself angry or nervous, won't be very hard.
I can only do 30 at the moment...still going to try and get to 100 but I doubt I'll succeed
I would, but I tried before and seriously fucked my arms up. Which is bad when you're a guitar teacher. I'm painfully weak.
You'll gain muscle mass from virtually any exercise. However, the mass gained from push-ups is nowhere near the mass you could gain from exercises that involve weight/added resistance.
That isn't much of a issue if you don't want big muscles.
Bloody hell, day 2 is a punch in the face! First three sets done, not sure if ill do the last 2! (25 press ups at least? WHAT) [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Okay just did 4th, now to do 25 more :gonk:
That isn't much of a issue if you don't want big muscles.
Why would you not want big muscles though?
27. feeling like death.
Why would you not want big muscles though?
I find them unattractive and they would just get in the way of my normal everyday life.
I find them unattractive and they would just get in the way of my normal everyday life.
You're afraid your arm will become too muscled, and your hand too big to be able to find your dick?
Week 3 done. Am i suppost to wait till the next week or can i continue tomorrow with week 4?
Week 3 done. Am i suppost to wait till the next week or can i continue tomorrow with week 4?
Wait till next week, you need to to recover, it's unhealthy to not take breaks when working out.
I'm 14 stone (196 pounds), 5'9.
I'm 200 pounds and 6'4/6'5 not sure. I really didn't think you were so heavy. Compared to your height that is. He's also right, you do appear to be in decent shape.
I find them unattractive and they would just get in the way of my normal everyday life.
There's a huge difference between having big muscles and having ridiculously huge muscles. I hate how people think lifting weights will turn them into those massive gross looking bodybuilding dudes.
Second session is finished, I did 16 on the last set.
I won't join. Can't even commit to Wii Fit.

Week 1, day 2, column 3 sets completed. My max has increased by 4. :3:
Sign me up.
Forgot to sign up, but I'll do mine on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, due to going to the gym Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Just did mine.
I'm 14 stone (196 pounds), 5'9.
Depending on your build size that's not bad, I'm 6' and I've been told I should be around 160-170
