Finished Week 6 Day 1 Column 3, it wasn't as hard as I thought, but it was heavy stuff.
I want a shake weight. Has anyone ever had one? disregard the shaking motion
There's no disregarding. :DD
week 2 go oh wow that wasnt as hard as previous times when i attempted this
Ugh, I had to do week 4 again, I still can't make it past the first day of week 5 (first column). Seems like I'm stuck there.
Week 4 day 1 done yesterday, can't even push my 80kg moped out of the shed now. :smith: Let alone setting it on the center stand, that shit hurts.
Fucking hell, got sick, so I couldn't do them last week, and I hurt my hand yesterday. Gotta repeat from week 4 :smith:
I have been really tired lately, I need to rest, so i am taking a few days from doing push ups.
Completed Week 6 row 3 Day 2, arms are quite tired.
I can only do 16 :v:
I just did Week 6 row 3 day 3, the 60th pushup was definitely the hardest I have worked my arms. I don't think I will be able to do 100 pushups next week. I will probably restart week 6 again.
Just finished week 4 day 3, I'm fucking knackered, just barely made it, I might have to do week 4 again, I'll see with the exhaustion test.

Make sure y'all are eating enough, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep. You can work out all day every day, but if you don't sleep, you won't ever get stronger. Something is telling me that a lot of you aren't doing something right outside of doing the program because you keep having to go back and repeat weeks. If you don't eat after working out, stay hydrated, or get enough sleep, your muscles will never have a chance to get stronger. EDIT: Also, the whole point is to push yourself. If you struggled to meet the numbers required for the current week, good. You shouldn't be ending days with the feeling that you can do more. I know being exhausted/burning is a new feeling to a lot of you, but it shows that you're getting work done. If you barely make it one week, don't go back and restart that week, move on to the next one. Push yourself to your limits. Push-ups aren't a dangerous workout, you're not going to break anything or tear anything do push-ups if they're done correctly. Really try to advance in weeks, you should have that "Damn, I barely made it," feeling at the end of every week.
I have only 1 day of the 200 situps program left, but i'm still waaaaaaaay behind on the 100 pushups [editline]16th February 2011[/editline] It's gonna be hard not giving up doing pushups once i'm done with the situps program

I'm not allowed to do push-ups because I had a surgery :saddowns:
Week 4 day 2 :smug: (right column)

Breakfast - Scrambled egg/Fried egg/Banana Snack - A slice of bread with butter and salami Lunch - soup and usually something meaty with rice/pasta. Not too much, though Dinner - Varies. Today I had baked broccoli with pasta and cheese. Yesterday some salad. The day before some chicken meat with rice. I never feel hungry so I guess it's fine. and that's all I eat a day. I drink a lot of water, too. Also, I workout usually after I come home from school - 2-3pm. I don't really eat after working out - Should I?
It's good to eat something that contains protein after you work out. Really jump-starts your recovery. Doesn't have to be a full meal, a little thing of muscle milk or whatever does the job just fine.
Meh, I don't really want to drink these protein shakes and whatever. I'll try to eat at least some fruit, though. Thanks. [editline]16th February 2011[/editline] or I'll fry me an egg
Eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich then. Peanut butter is a good source of protein. Bananas are good when you're sore, the potassium really helps out.
Drink milk and eat fish-on-a-cheese sandwich.
Did 31 pushups for the exhaustion test so barely made it to week 5, tried week 5 day one and could not get trough it so I'm going to redo week 4. :smith: My max is +- 3 times it was when I started though, quite cool. :buddy: Also getting my wisdom teeth pulled out next week so I'm out for a few days.
Fuck yeah, I did it ! [editline]18th February 2011[/editline] I finished 200 situps
I just started doing this, bout to start 2nd week of it :) Could to 5 originally, up to 20 now :D
im back into doing this, im feeling better now. Im going to do my days twice now. Do the 120 push ups on day 1 on week 4. have a protein shake loaded full of vitamin's and 21 grams of protein. rest for 30 minutes. repeat the day. at the end of the day ill have done 240 push ups. hopefully that will help me increase my max and help me put on some mass for once in my life.
I used to max at 50, but now I'm doing chest to the ground push ups and maxed at 30. So I'll start this thing tomorrow!
Just tried for the first time and did 30. I think I'm doing it wrong.
Just tried for the first time and did 30. I think I'm doing it wrong.
Or maybe your just a closet bad ass. Are you making right angles at your elbows when you go down/ touch the ground with your chest? If so, your golden ponyboy.
