The last guy, Eugen Sandow is pretty much the Father of Bodybuilding.
He was a Prussian bodybuilder in the 19th century, the very first of his kind.
Everybody forgot about this after the thread got moved from GD :frown:

I've started doing the 100 pushups program from the very beginning. Did 30 in the initial test, so I'll have to start from week 3
Good. It's pretty silly beyond being able to say that you can do 100 push ups.
<3 srry

I don't think many people on Facepunch can do 100. Outside the Fitness forum that is
True but for the most part doing that many isn't very practical unless you plan on needing to support a small amount of weight for long periods of time with your chest/tri's, which in itself isn't very practical either.
It's a good concept since almost anyone can do a push up anywhere but 100 is excessive.
I'm in.
Challenge accepted. 3 on the initial. Long road ahead.

i thought you were actually getting worse
Holidays just kicked in, I think I'll try this.
these pushups combined with the new Dips program = great muscle building. The dips feel kind of hard but really rewarding when you finish them :v:
or maybe you could just go to a gym and get even better gains
What did I just write?

you are dumb as shit
For fucks sake, some things are not about mass gains. Push ups are MORE painful than any fucking weight you will ever lift. I have a lot of respect for all the regular folks doing push ups, you have to be much more dedicated and need much more motivation to go on with this program.
Hell, push ups give you REAL strength gains, explosive strength. A friend of mine who is an athlete, has never lifted a weight in his life, but in 4 years, of push ups plus a lot of other athletism shit; he has got a lean big chest. Size doesn't mean a thing. Many girls loathe big muscles, and love skinny bastards.
how do you even manage to breathe?
