Power cleans are the lift that always left me exhausted. With most lifts like squats, deadlifts, bench, etc. if you're running out of gas, you can finish that last rep by using your final bit of energy to slowly inch the bar to its destination. With power cleans, you have to be explosive and at 100 percent or that weight won't get up. There's no inching the bar to your chest on power cleans.
From 35 to 41..

Just wait for a couple of years, you will magically gain muscle. Don't worry.

You weigh 5 pounds?
For fucks sake, some things are not about mass gains. Push ups are MORE painful than any fucking weight you will ever lift. I have a lot of respect for all the regular folks doing push ups, you have to be much more dedicated and need much more motivation to go on with this program.
Hell, push ups give you REAL strength gains, explosive strength. A friend of mine who is an athlete, has never lifted a weight in his life, but in 4 years, of push ups plus a lot of other athletism shit; he has got a lean big chest. Size doesn't mean a thing. Many girls loathe big muscles, and love skinny bastards.
Ahahahha
Dude, I am a competitive boxer, pushups are like a daily chore for me. Doings lots of consecutive pushups doesnt do shit for explosive strength. You know what does? Sprinting and lifting heavy shit.
And um, I'm guessing you have never squatted more than your bodyweight in your life. This program doesn't even begin to define dedication. This is a fucking breeze compared to some of the shit powerlifters put themselves through to achieve a new personal record.
"real strength gains" lmao
Also maybe if you are like 15 girls like skinny bastards, but when you actually start chasing women let me know if they still dig the looking like a 12 year old boy look.
tl;dr you are dumb as shit lmao

be careful i got banned for saying that!!!
Can I do the sit-ups, squats, dips, and push-ups program at the same time?
I figure since they don't share the same muscles for the most part.
(I'M NEW TO THIS GOSH)
Also whats the easiest way to keep track D:
Starting this tomorrow!
I gave up a while ago, I'm going to try again, for my initial test I did 4 push ups :v:
Sign me up, I'm eager to follow through with this. Managed to do about 10 off the bat, which is...sad.
Sign me up.. managed to do 15 pushups, which is not bad considering I'm extremely out of shape.
Also started day one: works out pretty well.. can't wait for day two.
Sign me up. I'm already in fairly good shape (21 pushups, and I probably could've done many more before I completely collapsed), so I might try starting at Week 3 tomorrow.
Tried again after a short break, got 28 before I collapsed. Let's do this.
Hey sign me up, I've been doing them for over a year now so this should be a breeze :smug:
Holy bump, Batman! Yeah, sorry for that.
Anyway, I've decided to actually try this, because I got tired of my old workout. So, let's see what happens.
i'm in
Hey didn't know there was a thread for this.
It definitely takes longer than 6 weeks to get to 100 push ups, and you're gonna have to redo some weeks, but it's possible.
