They want to have something nice for once in a world that does not want them to have anything. Just because you're poor does not mean you should be only buying food and basic utilities. That is surviving, not living.

I didn't say poor people CAN'T take advantage of Black Friday, there's no need to endanger people's safety over such luxeries though. I mean honestly, look at that. That's how you might stampede if you were starved and those were the last few scraps of food available.
Are you trying to tell me that the majority of people who take advantage of Black Friday ARE poor people? I think it's more likely that the demographic is people with money to spend but still reason to save it.

I blame the people who go there at 8 PM to camp out for deals, and the companies who offer savings that should be offered throughout the year. If they really care about their customers and employees, they wouldn't force super duper savings at a ridiculous time that drags families away from the holiday that is supposed to represent being thankful for what you have.

I went to 2010 Black Friday for the iTouch, I went there at 3am, and it didn't start till 7am. I was waiting inside for all those hours, and was one of the first in line... at least then there was a line, I dont know what that was in that video?
The store literately asked for that to happen. They are supposed to give them out 1 at a time, not open a bag and say "take it".
