I usually can't be assed to put on my headphones, because my speakers are good enough and I don't like having those headphones on all the time, but I usually wear them about one or two hours a day to listen to music.

Yeah, I don't always listen to music with headphones. The stereo effect is kinda lost with stereo speakers if you don't stand in front of them.

My speakers are such shit. I always have my headphones on.

The emphasis of this thread was that sound is lost when you listen through speakers. You can easily escape the ball of sound by walking away from it, where as headphones keep you with music regardless of where you move.

Apparantly there are headphones that can deliver the full surround sound experience... if this is true, I may have to try some albums mixed like that :v:

Both are good I prefer speakers whenever I have the chance however

Listening to Music With Headphones is the Worst Way To Experience Music (for me). Why? I go through headphones like Chain Smoker Joe goes through Newports.

You can definitely hear more of the music through headphones, but I prefer listening to speakers/live music.

Headphones are better quality, but it's not the same.

Fuck your headphones. They cost 3x the price here. I had to buy Sennheiser HD 202 because they were the only ones priced under $70 with tax and shipping, and they're very uncomfortable.

Sennheisers are built like a brick and they're comfortable... AND they sound awesome :v:
