Holy shit, look at all those MacBooks. That's more than I've seen in my entire life up to this point.
That's the university life, everyone has one.. if you go to a nice university that is. :smug:
I'm guessing it didn't belong to a student, he was just destroying a laptop to make a point. That's just my assumption though.
The video description said it was staged.
Awesome, 50% of my uni is Macbook-toting brats from Ontario who spend class browsing Facebook
Read the description: NOTE: THIS WAS STAGED! the laptop was not functional at the time.
He probly use another non functional laptop to scare the kid. What I think he was doing was working on assignments whilst looking as though he was doing notes.
I'm sure they have more important things to deal with than a whiny college student...oh wait, nevermind.
Calling the cops when some ass destroys your >1000$ property is being whiny? Cops only arrest mass murderers and terrorists :downs:
I use a pen and paper :D
Awesome professor is awesome.
Easy to tell this was staged, the students would have reacted differently if it was real.
If he did that to my laptop I'd punch him square in the face then forcibly drag him to the nearest computer shop and make him by the most expensive one there.
No you wouldn't, internet tough kid.
If it was MY laptop I'd call the cops and sue the guy for destruction of property. :smugdog:
I want to see the remains.
For those that think it is real, read the video's descriptions
NOTE: THIS WAS STAGED! the laptop was not functional at the time.

For those that think it is real, read the video's descriptions
For those who can't read. Learn. This has been mentioned several times already, stop trying to be mr. smarty pants.
Would have been cooler if it wasn't staged and he poured it on the students head and smashed it on the desk (Jason X style!)
he a douchebag
Easy to tell this was staged, the students would have reacted differently if it was real.
Disagree'd. One student would be flipping shit, but the rest would likely still be laughing. Whether or not the one student got up to do something about it is debatable. My old teacher used to do something like this with cell phones. He was a scuba diver, so every summer he'd go diving and, while down there, collect cell phones people dropped into the lake. He'd clean them out, make them look like new, and then hand one to a student and tell him to make it look like he's either talking, texting, or whatever in the back of the room. Then he'd ask the student to bring it up, put it on the table, and smash it with a hammer.
Why is every one sitting with a laptop there? Should they use books or something?
Professors aren't teachers, they make money no matter what the students do.
Disagree'd. One student would be flipping shit, but the rest would likely still be laughing.
Why is every one sitting with a laptop there? Should they use books or something?
They take notes.

However, if you place it just right, it looks like its not broken. First day of the semester he said "As for cell phones in class:" Then he picked up the phone, threw at the back wall and it snapped in half. "Any questions?"
:golfclap:
I bet the cleaners were real happy with him making his point.
Description of the youtube video: In an effort to make a point, a professor freezes a student's laptop with liquid nitrogen then smashes it. NOTE: THIS WAS STAGED! the laptop was not functional at the time.
