Yeah probably, I've grown 'resistant' to that [i]need[/i] for love, but holding hands with friends-that-are-girls still feels great once you start and never want to let go.
Coolest thing I've found recently is I've grown completely resistant to chewing or smoking, I used to crunch the ice in water for ages but now I just don't need to. Downers have changed though, never used to hit bad, currently dropping twice a week spread out so I'm not sure a downers hit properly, which is a bit sketchy. This will be the first full week off in a while, so I guess I'll see what happens.

I agree with you, but people will do what they do. I mean I wish somebody told me way back that if I do it too much it would never feel the same. Plus the depression and horrible mood swings after a period of XTC abuse is horrible.I even developed a lisp/slur back in the day from drug abuse.
I'm taking a week off it completely, and if shit goes down I'll stay off for longer. Time to get back into alcohol.
I try to never roll more than once a month. I'll make the occasional exception, but E messes with your mood too much to do too often, and if you take it too often you will build that tolerance. I really don't want to lose the magic like most heavy users, I'd rather have a lovey/huggy kind of experience rather than just the mild stimulation and euphoria described by heavy users.
Plus, I can never get my hands on really clean pills, and I'm more concerned about taking the speed too often rather than the MDMA. Speed is way worse for you in the long term than MDMA.
Honestly, I don't care if a pill has speed in it.

Nah, not really. Sure, speed kills people, but MDMA really fucks with the mind. Speed is a LOT less neurotoxic than MDMA and it's unlikely to be in E pills in significant quantities, they're very different drugs and it's normally considered a "perk" to have speed included.
MDMA is very benign physically, but it's undoubtedly fucking relentless on the brain. Permanent effects are very probable (memory loss, speech problems, logic errors, serious depression etc.) whereas speed is very similar to Ritalin and long-term effects are rather negligible.
I don't mean to go all anti-MDMA. There are far worse drugs, however MDMA is NOT something you should indulge in often if you want to avoid "derealization" which is awful, and I've experienced it. MDMA is the best party drug there is no question.
Stick to one time a month people. ;)

Hit the nail on the head. Ecstasy is a great drug, just a drug that shouldn't be abused. It's still a drug even though it might come in a cool little pill.
