I can teach you Parseltongue or Klingon if you want. They're a lot better than Czech.
learn italian
seduce ladies
:smug:
Yeah but you don't just learn a language within months and doing it because 'it will impress your friends' is a very dumb motive.
If you're going to learn a language, you're going to spend a lot of time. You can't just expect to find a site that will teach you the whole language within months.
I would never learn any asian language. First of all I am doing this to impress my many czech friends that I will be living near for the rest of my life hopefully. (they are girls too) Second. I don't find Asian girls that attractive compared to Eastern European girls.
Yes I am going to Czech with them for a few weeks. Then coming back to England. But its kinda a fun thing to do with your friends, learn their language. They love it when I try and attempt to say 'Ahoj' which is hello since I get a kick out of saying 'ahoy'
So OP basically wants to seduce Czech girls and bring them back here for cheap labour

sweat shops.....
I'm beginning classes in American Sign Language in college tomorrow.

you can teach me parseltongue or klingon :P
Learn Japanese....comes with lots of benefits like it looks good on your CV
Listen to this man he has an anime avatar he knows what he's talking about!
Try Rosetta Stone, that shit helps alot.
I really want to learn German
It's a good language. And, its somewhat similar to English
Example : I am Playaz
German : Ich bin Playaz
OP I have a decent enough knowledge of Slovak (which Czechs understand as well as Czech since it is almost exactly the same) and it was not too hard to learn.
My dad taught my and my sister and my grandparents only speak to us in Slovak.
To learn it quickly I would use Rosetta Stone. (Which last time I checked had Czech)
Also eastern European girls = :fh:

haha exactly.
Okay, I couldn't figure out if rosetta stone had czech but now I'll get it I guess. Thanks.
TAKE NOTICE FP! THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!
Learn Icelandic then you can say Eyjafjallajökull like me :v:
Guys he isn't gonna learn your favorate language that you never attempted to learn yourself.
Why Czech? Pick a language that you know will come in handy, like Spanish or German.
Why? So he can lose interest and not have his heart in it?
I've been learning Swedish since decemeber, and it doesn't matter that most swedes speak perfect english and there's only 10 million speakers. I'm learning it because I want to, and because I like the sound, not because it's "useful".
You will be more successful if you try and learn what you want to learn than something you aren't so fussed on.
learn a langeuge
Why? So he can lose interest and not have his heart in it?
I support OP in his current decision once he explained that he doesn't just want to learn a new language for the sake of it, but actually has a good reason.
Also eastern European girls = :fh:
Yes.
I'm Czech. And I'm completely sure it's goddamn hard to learn. Simply because you have so many ways to say one thing and because we have letters that 99% of the world's languages don't even use.
But of course it isn't impossible to learn it, you will probably never master it, but even us Czechs often struggle with our mother-tongue :Q
Czech is similar to Slovak (obviously) and Polish, much more than Russian.
Also eastern European girls = :fh:
Yeah. If you're looking for NICE AND NATURAL girls, (no plastic dolls) you're in the right region.
Anyway..
Hello. = "Dobrý den."
Hi. = "Ahoj."
Goodbye (casual) = "Ahoj." or "Čau." (almost like the Italian 'ciao')
Goodbye (formal) = "Na shledanou"
How are you? = "Jak se máte?"
It's a good language. And, its somewhat similar to English
Example : I am Playaz
German : Ich bin Playaz
Czech:Já jsem Playaz
.. this will be similar in lot of languages
I am Czech and know english decently, little german and I think they're not similar at all.
My opinion tho...
Make your own language.
Sell it.
??? [sp]When others sell it at high prices, you sell $1 cheaper than them.[/sp]
PROFIT!
This.
One of the easiest language, but that doesn't mean its easy.
I'd heard it's one of the hardest
I'd heard it's one of the hardest
You were lied to like a Catholic child at the altar.
I'm learning German ATM, it's not too hard, as it is alot like Danish.
Czech is a language similar to Slovenian.
So it IS hard to learn well 'cause it has a lot of things English doesn't have.
For example in English there is singular and multiple forms of words.
Like 1 table, 2 tables, 3 tables.
But in Slovenian there is 1 miza, 2 mizi, 3 mize.
See what I mean?
I'm sure it would be easy for you to learn how to communicate in a simple way, but to be good at it, it will take you a lot of effort :P
